are there any ski schools that are just during the winter? so you go to your regular school, then in the winter you go there, and go back to your regular school in the spring?
 
this won't be much help cause I dont know the name of it, but I know of 2 kids that went to school at my HS for the fall, went away to ski academy of some sort for the winter, and then came back to hs in the spring. So yes, ther's such a thing.
 
i know a girl that races and does that, but i think she moved there for good, she went to colorado, she comes to school here in new jersey in the 4th marking period and 1st marking period, she stays in co for 2 and 3
 
that would be so sick for skiing

but i'd rather just go all year for friends and other stuff. transfering schools in HS would be hard
 
yea that is exactally what they said. i guess they would prob like to go all year but if you look at how much it costs it is amazing.
 
Waterville Academy does that, and you can choose anywhere from 5 months to 1 month I believe.
 
pat you have that correct. wva is pretty much the illest, crazy small class size (when i went 2 kids in one class was the biggest), but now it's bigger. because of that you get sooooo much done in a little amount of time. and you get to ski a lot.
 
my mom wouldnt let me go to wva cause it isnt an 'acredicited highschool'

i guess Gould is aight cause u get to ski 7 days a week but it kinda sucks to be stuck here from september to late may. Bethel gets old real fast i havent been home in so long i just want to sleep in my own bed

spring is gona be dope though cause sunday river is so sick then
 
Ya, WVA is a dope place, although I never went to school there, I know plenty of people who did/do, and everyone loves it. Gaz (the coach) is the man, the team is for the most part cool (Jeff is very emo at times), and WV is a sick little town.
 
my school day ends around 9:45 somedays now that i dropped french... then i just take the mountain explorer and go skiing. the latest days go until 11:15 so painful
 
exactly... i want to go there but i donno if i can stay in a dorm and i wanna know how much it would be, estimate, but if i email them or somthing they'll prolly contact my parents and ask all these questions and shit, just what i dont want
 
Ha, my parents would never pay an extra amount of money just so that I could ski, and likely get an inferior education. Damn them all. All 2 of them.
 
KMS, i know 2 people that go there and they have gotten so much better, progressing tremendously. One girl already made the news with her goal of being in the olympics in 4 years.
 
one of my friends from home went to kms and im pretty sure he did that just for the winter months. Sounds like a real sweet deal.
