Everyone please give me your opinion on ski academies up there, especialy if you attend one.

I'm mainly looking at Mt. Snow Academy right now just because they have both AP classes and good financial aid. if those 2 things aren't available, don't even mention it, sorry.

Thanks

mtsnow is good, stratton mountain school is good too, i've heard its strict though, if your looking for a more laid back atmosphere go to Okemo Mountain school, cool coaches, mostly tutored style learning, program is currently in its rebuilding years, looking for new prospects. www.okemofreestyle.com .... www.okemomtschool.org, or email elana@okemofreestyle.com (she's head coach of oms freestyel), or u can email me michael.bruno@uconn.edu , i'm another one of the coaches

There is Gould Academy in Bethel Maine, they ski at Sunday River. I mostly see the race kids from there though..

CVA doesn't have AP classes, so it's out of the question.

I think my mom said okemo didn't have financial aid, also putting it out of the question, although I'd love to ride that mountain all the time.

It's coming to applications (this week).

So far it's just Mt. Snow, which is also close to an airport, meaning i could come home for the weekend for a big dj gig if it's financially worth it.

I'll check out Okemo once more, since it too is close to airport.

Waterville has one too (I'm pretty sure), but I have no idea if they offer financial aid. When I went to UVM, my roommate was from Gould, and was a freestyle specialist on both board and skis, so Gould is not all racing.

life is too short to have any regrets
