Sketchy neighbors are freaking me out

So I'll start from the beginning...

A few days ago my dad is at home and notices a couple police officiers walking around our driveway which we share with our neighbors. Our houses are in pretty close proximity to each other, less than 25 feet. So he goes out to talk to them to see what's up and what they're doing in his driveway. Turns out there looking for the guy who lives next door... they go and knock on their door and no one answers even though the guys car is in the driveway. Police walk around the house for a few minutes and ask my dad a couple questions about him and then take off.

Keep in mind we just moved in here around 2 months ago and have always kinda agreed that this guy is shady. Me and my dad (it's only us two who live here) have also noticed some weird shit happening around our house...

-someone put a chicken wing on our window sill

-our grill has been pushed off our deck twice

-every time time i pull into the driveway their kid points his finger at me and fakes like he is shooting me with a gun.

-my car has been dented and keyed on the passenger side facing their house

On a number of times i'll be leaving for work at the same time this guy is walking to his car and kinda wave or nod to acknowledge him and he never makes eye contact. IMO, the guy is a heroin addict or something... always looks disheveled, angry and is super skinny.

Yesterday the wind knocked down a bunch of sticks on our driveway so my dad sweeps them up. Today he comes home from work and their is a giant fucking cross that someone placed right in front of our doorstep. When we looked at the two sticks used to make it was clear someone snapped them both from the same branch and placed them there. (I was able to put them back together).

Clearly they saw my dad talking to the police and hate us even more so, not to mention all the other strange stuff happening the past two months.

What should we do? me and my dad aren't interested in waging some beef with these people.
 
Get a gun knock on their door and ask them if they really want to play tough guys. No but for real go scare the shit out of em and tell them to fuck off and quit being dicks.
 
Sketchy shit, I'd do a few of the following...1. Call the popo

2.Key there windows (for keying your car)

3. Buy a gun and attack them

4. Burn there house down...
 
maybe well have a cookout with a bunch of pitbulls and assemble all the eaten chicken wings into a upside down cross in their front lawn.
 
put up fliers in the projects advertising a free bar b que with chicken and grape drink

youre gonna lose a lot of money on chicken but it could save your life
 
blast odd future shit and put an upside down cross in their yard. if they are indeed religious feaks this should teach them to fuck off

if you think Odd Future scares anybody, you're out of your fucking mind. that's a group of some of the least intimidating rappers I've ever seen. that would do nothing but piss them off.
 
thats kinda sketchy, but from what i've gathered you're clearly living in the suburbs correct? i dont think you have anything to worry about, the guy may go off one day and start running around naked but he probably wont hurt you. if you get really scared just call the police honestly.
 
break into the house late at night and figure out whats going on. no sense in beating around the bush. SOLVE THIS MYSTERY
