i feel like theres something about the framing that distracts me from the subject. part of it is lighting, but part of it is also your angles. Keep taking pictures though. they get better the more you play.

Composition is what separates good photographers from bad ones. Photography is just painting with light; if you were painting with actual paint, you wouldn't just randomly throw subjects onto the frame, now would you? Learn how the human mind reacts to perspective and you will find the key...
