yo,

so it looks like THIS girl is not gonna be able to do any skiing this summer due to lack of money and not that great jobs...so I think to myself "LJ, you gotta start skating again-y know keep yourself busy and learn some new tricks and at least feel cool again(joke)"...

The only problem is back when I was into skating (yep I learned how to grind on blades before I even learned how to grind on skis)the only option was-pretty much hmmm hardshell, hardshell, or hardshell you know...lace-up-ratchet-down-take-out-ur-middle-wheel-if-you-wanna-grind. yeah. anyone else remember those days? 5 or 6 yrs ago at least. So I go on skateaggressive.com to check out the new stuff--mostly brands I haven't heard of and terms I don't understand.

My question is: to anyone who skates and knows the answer:

What are the good brands, whats a good intermediate/advanced skate to get back into it with? with all the cool stuff for all the different grinds an shit? haha

and don't tell me "fruitbooting is gay" or whatnot cuz seriously it's all been said before and I'm looking for something to keep tricken with this summer.

so. any info would be sweet.

no pink = not a damn girlie girl who loves pink and sugar an spice an whose only goal in life is to get boys--all that stereotyping that people put on females!! haha but yeah seriously, I started on this site when I was around 15? at that point in my life I was anti-pink. against the color, would not allow it anywhere near me, did not wear it and despised the "wimpy girls" (in my 15 yr old mind anyway) that wore pink, skirts, dresses, had EVER played with barbie dolls etc.

Yeah.

lengthy response but people ask all the time if I'm a guy with that name as a joke or something, so just to clear it up. I'm not lesbian by any means either. and I now am much less of a tomboy and occassionally wear pink-even if it's just steezy fluorescent shit!
