Skateparks

Did Dreamland build that? They built ours in Polson Montana, its sick as fuck, we have alot of bowl section though. That park looks like its got a great street section. Our street section is sorta weak and the shit we do have is so big, you got to be a badass to hit it heh. Our bowl section is probably the best one in Montana though.

bikes are gay and not meant for the skatepark. all these mexican kids come to the skatepark on BMX bikes and clog up the park and block all the features. they cut you off and they will hit you.
 
every peson ive ever encountered in a skatepark is a prick, so i avoid it. but... think about skiing, skis didnt used to be allowed intoterrain parks, now we are, same shit
 
skiing is somewhat different. If a skier and a snowboarder collided. the smaller person would probably take more of the impact. at the skatepark if a roller blader/skater collided with a bmx rider the bmx rider would take out the skater/blader. plus bmx bikes take up more room. at the skatepark i skate at, the bikers have no care or etiquette for the other people there. one of the mexicans in the park almost hit me the other day. it just makes me angry mostly because the bikers that are at that skatepark have no etiquette or respect for the other people there.
 
well i guess it comes down to the people at the skatepark..from my experience i dont like bikers... nuff said
 
probably because you're riding a bike in a skatepark like a d-bag. Ever see that old episode of made where some chick who could barley ride a bike learned how to do a back flip in like a month.
 
man you guys are so lucky, we dont have concrete or anything like that in montreal. we have one indoor and one bike one, but no bowls or anything, fuckk
 
they can solve the biker skater problem by having sessions, like my park, like certain times for bikers only, and skaters only
 
that sounds horrible. they jsut shouldn't allow bikers. lately there have been kids on mountain bikes and razor scooters. they should ban those too at skateparks
 
no dude i have run over so many scooter kids. there moms are there to yell at me even though the kids cut in front of me

those parks look nice. nice edit too. sadly I may give up on park skating and just do it for transportation, but I'm still stoked to see that kind of stuff.
 
i ride a mtn bike in skateparks and im better then 3/4 of the bmxers that are usually there, and better (as in be able to do more tricks) then all the skateboarders.
 
thats why i said as in being able to do more tricks. but like if you take an extreme, obviously tony hawk is better at the skating then some little kid is at biking. yeah i have no idea what im talking about
 
first of all, FUCK bmx bikers in the park. Their tricks are gay as fuck and they take up too much space. I have mad respect for downhill and mountain biking and dirt jumps, all that shit, but biking in the park is where I draw the line. FUCK them.

second of all, Dreamland was going to build a phat park in my town, but the people voted against it because Alaska is a stinky conservative state with a bunch of old people. phooey.
 
Everyone should be allowed in parks. I'll give you one thing they trash more shit with their pegs, but to those saying bikes don't do cool tricks or take up too much room, forget it bikes are badass and freestyle just as much as blades or boards. I've never seen mtn. bikes in a park but hey go for it if you want.

If you start cutting out one sport then you should just get rid of parks all together. Parks are for tricks and freestyle who says you can't do that on anything, hell if you've got pads on I don't care if your riding heelys or a frickin big wheel in the parks as long as your having fun.

I used to blade with bikers all the time and sessions in a park just kept me from blading with my friends on bikes, I've been hit by bikers also but I didn't get wrecked, just work harder to play together. Parks should be there for everyone.
 
More on topic though, that park looks badass. They just put in an all concrete skatepark in wildwood NJ, can't wait to hit that up next time i'm at the beach.
 
wow, some of you are idiots. Bikes are fucking dope too. Just watch where the fuck you are going and you wont get hit. Its called Park Ettiquette, take your turn. If someone is being a fucking idiot and getting in your way every time and not paying attention, yell at them and maybe beat their ass if you have to or call the cops on them etc. HOnestly, if you think BMX tricks are lame, then wow, you must not know anyone who is any good. BMXers at my park are always boosting out of the bowls 7+ feet, yep, no skaters are doing that.....
 
Also bikes add a gnarfactor of wrapping up with the bike when they fall. On top of that some of my bros friends ride with no brakes whatsoever, try a tailtap without having a brake on your back tire.
 
if you want to go that route a skateboard is just a plank of wood with wheels on it, and blades are shoes with wheels on them, and mount everest is just a mountain, and a switch 1080 is only 3 spins standing backwards, and you get my idea
 
yeah but with a skateboard theres no chair. Theres nothing to hold onto. its purely based on getting the right trajectory of the board, you rely on it when riding a skateboard. Theres nothing holding you on the deck.
