Skatepark culture

(first)

where i live (not europe, washington dc) the skatepark functions as so:

if you are better than someone, you think that you are a superior person to those still learning, and you feel you can treat them as such

if your a lesser being, you worship the ground anyone better that you walks on and take whatever thrashing they dish out to you

i hate it so. all the kids who skate around here have a whole bunch of issues about superiority and morals

denver is the best park ever. everybody gets along for the most part (skater-biker-blader wose). i mean there are a few here and there who are just dumbasses, but we deal with it.

denvers bmx scene is getting goin pretty good to. weve done a scene report for a video magazine and a scene report for Ride UK Magazine (which isnt actually released yet), and there are a few crazy motherfuckers here.

but i would definately say, after traveling to quite a few different places to ride, that denver is one of the best, and ive also heard the same from people who have traveled here

well thats unfortunate

at our park everyone is homies. there are of course drug addict scum fucks who hang around and cause trouble but theyre besides the point. everyone is considered equal at the park, except for alot of snotty sponsored skaters who go there...they think theyre the shit
