Skateboarding, rollerblading or scootering?

i rollerblade. Skateboarding is cool but like snowboarders 95% of them suck so bad an spend the whole day attempting to land 1 kick flip

scooters well. cmon. too easy to make fun of. If you do that just off yourself

I love skateboarding even though I suck and spend a day landing a kickflip, the feeling of getting a trick and then moving on to mastering it and doing it all over the place, is just awesome
 
I scooter, wanna fight about it?

jk.. I skateboard and suck at it, but it's fun to cruise around, I want to try rollerblading this summer.

Two wheels in the front? Because balance is so tough on a scooter and loosing your balance is oh so dangerous.
 
If you use one board, you spend all day trying to do one kickflip. If you prefer your board with a handlebar, your'e 12 years old and have no friends. If you like your board split and attached to your feet, you're a fruity 60 year old booter. Seriously. Too much hate. Care less about what other people are doing and more about what you're doing. You might even have some fun, never know.

who said skateboarding was just about learning to do a kickflip? I like skateboarding cause their is so many variations and creativity involved. I have way more fun with my flatbar than I ever had trying to kickflip down anything

I was at the skatepark on Sunday and some little kid had a scooter with a caster wheel at the back, so it can pivot. extreme
 
As some one who has done all 3 i prefer blading, scooting was ok, and i found boarding to fustrating. I just picture my self skiing when i blade
 
I blade and skate a bit, like blading better cause its easier to learn stuff and it's more like skiing.

The rollerblading community must stick together.
 
IMO:

if like me you want a sport that's the closest to skiing and that can replicate some of the tricks you do on skis either rollerblading or scootering:

-blades will get your switch on skis super good if you ride switch a bit, you can do rails but not really like skiing at all, you can do spins/flips but landing them takes a lot of time and practice.

-Scooter: ok it looks soooooo fucking gay. agreed. i still do it because it's so fucking easy. You have no idea, seriously, it too me 2 days to be able to do rails, 360s, 180s plus you can do tons of urban cos you can slide/grind pretty much anything (and grinding was the only thing i was looking for).

I guess skateboard is dope but only once you're really good and that takes years...it's safe to say that it's one of the hardest progression wise sport out there.

And if you have mountains where you live just fucking mountain bike, i wish i could do it so bad...
 
I use to skate a mini i built in my garage which was nice because you could actually see progression but now as a grown up child I like a more low impact sport... so i took up sky diving
 
buncha pussies we got now. learn to skate, its so much more rewarding and way more impressive and fun once you actually get semi good
 
I feel like the skateboarding hating on rollerbladers ordeal is comparable to the Snowboarders vs Skiers thing. It's childish and it'll go away.

I doubt that, but yeah its somewhat comparable except that there are just way more people skiing.
 
Where the are you guys from that rollerblading is even a thing? I don't think I've been to a skatepark where I've seen someone rollerblading

Rollerblading is like aggressive running with wheels, it's easy and gay as hell. At least the skaters trying to kickflip are doing something difficult. That's entirely false too there's so many skateboarders that rip, in fact I'd say a smaller majority are the kids who don't and I skate a lot even work at a skateshop so I see a lot of kids. Rollerblading is right up there with scootering ya damn fruit booter. Sack up and buy a skateboard rollerblading was cool when I was ten. And also 95% of snowboarders suck? That's a pretty bold claim too cause lost of those dude slay.

Yeah it's pretty much a dead sport. I went to Woodward for skateboarding and there was like 20 kids in the whole rollerblade camp haha and that was like three years ago

hahaha i love seeing skateboarders that rip but cmon...most dont. I will take a video of the skatepark next time i go. 1 out of maybe 20 kill it, the others sit around doing nothing.

I didnt say skateboarding is gay, but your retarded calling rollerblading gay and easy. First off its hard as hell and has crazy risk factor. Id love seeing you try hitting a down rail even regular way let alone the crazy grinds you can do on blades. And its sick to watch when someones good. Sack up and try skateboarding? lol thats like saying sack up and try playing badmitten cause its so extreme.

oh and yea blading is way closer to skiing then anything else we can do.

That's the thing tho it's not hard. I wasn't kidding when I said I rollerbladed when I was like ten I used to blade all the time and it is easy. Literally it's like aggressive running! You have zero swing weight to deal with, the balance is easy and they're strapped to your feet!

As for it being gay you're rollerblading I'm not sure how you can deny the gayness of that.

Crazy risk level? Sure I can't deny that but not to the extent of skateboardings risk level. Comparing doing a three down stairs on blades or a board, skateboardings risk level is higher especially when you add flips tricks into the equation.

Also I live in Buffalo which has a pretty gnarly skate scene with tons of talent, might be why I see more rippers than you. Not to sure about the badmitten comment but I'll let ya have it.

A solid effort indeed but your saying my name is stupid because you said it was. While I on the other hand am saying rollerblading is stupid because it's rollerblading, an easy stupid looking sport that ten year olds partake in for two years, not because I said it was stupid. Rather because of what the "sport" actually is.
