Skateboard trucks on a longboard

So I was wondering if I could use the trucks on my skateboard on a longboard. This is probs a newb like question i just wanted to be sure.
 
wouldnt recommend it. they arent that wide, and there will not be a lot of room for wheel. and the kingpin is "normal." check out reversed-kingpin.
 
it seems like if you were going down hills you would wobble like a mo fo and have a hard time balance. not positive tho
