Skateboard Deck Question

I have outgrown my 7.5" width Element and am on the market for a new deck.

I'm pretty set on getting a 7.8" width deck, but I'm not sure about the brands.

I've had element, chocolate, and zoo york before.(In order from best to worst)

I googled and saw that pretty much everyone says the biggest names are the best which I know is not entirely true since I know a couple peoples who owned Plan B's and they said they sucked. (Element, Plan B, Birdhouse Etc.)

I was leaning towards Element or Blind, but I open to any other brands you suggest. Please only talk about what you've owned before. And the Pros and Cons of that deck.

PLEASE DON'T TURN THIS THREAD INTO AN ARGUEMENT over why somebody else is wrong about something

truth. i think some companies have minor differences but unless you're really good and have been skating since you were like 11 (and are presumably, not 11 or 12 or anything close) you're not going to notice.

I've owned Element, Monke, Darkstar, Real, Hardtimes, Anti Hero and I've ridden Deathwish, blind ect.

I like fatter boards, so anywhere from 8-8.25. I really enjoy Real decks, I've bought about 3 of them and they have always been my favorite. They are super durable I find. Deathwish is also pretty rad. My suggestion is to try a different company each time you get a deck, and see what you like. Figure out if you like lots of concave, or a flatter deck, ect.

Cheers

boards that snap on me: Alien workshop, Almost, Blind, Baker, Plan B, and Zero. my favorites: DGK, And Powell mini logo decks (zumiez carries em, $30). element, zoo york, and cliche are just average, not bad not good

mini logo, they're cheap and solid. most decks are all the same just with different graphics. you could also wholesale order blank decks for like $14-$16 each without grip.
