i like skateboarding i just think that there are way too many people who skate sometimes its nice to have alot of people who skate to skate with but other times its like you dont want to be associated wwith all those little anarchists who worship the devil and are always mean to people and are 'Punks' who listen to like blink 182 and think their hardcore im kinda getting sick of it

i board and dont really skate with many other ppl. just like 1 friend cause we live in a town with 90 corn fields. we do flatground tech like mullen pretty muchlike truckstands primo caspers pogo and all that stuff. u do see ppl do that. they mostly do street.

agreed^. i mean everyone just sees me as another skater right now and people think its all awesome and stuff and im just like whatever dude, its fun and i could care less about the image. i read tony hawks autobiography and i want it like when he was a kid.. skateboarders were outcasts. then there would be more of a bond between skaters and less bashing.

skating is so dope.... check out www.concretewavemagazine.com for what its all about.... there is a true skateboard culture that you guys are talking about.... and concrete wave honestly shows it to its fullest potential

btw, i just started riding bowls, and i learned frontside indies into rock to fakies! h00t

i ended my subscription to skateboarder mag after they ran an article about why skateboarding is superior to every other sport. it wasnt just that they dissed skiing, its that i believe sports should respect eachother and not bash. it should be like when jimmi hendrix did a cover of all along the watch tower. bob dylan said to hendrix 'this song isnt mine anymore, it is yours.' that is respect and thats how all sports should be

skatings not really a sport its somthing that u do just to have fun but u can be very skilled at it

its kinda like playing the guitar its not a sport but you can be good at it its cool tho just like skating

i love skateboarding. sadly i broke my ankle doing it at the begging of the summer but ill be able to skate in a week! :)

i think the worst trend though is the word poser. its especially bad because when i was flipping through a skate mag in a pile of them at a friends house and i came across an 'are you a poser test' it was the sadest thing ever.

yea i like doing it when not many ppl are around, cause i want to try sumthing and it's either being ataken over by other boarders or if u mess up which i usually do, they seem to just stare at me oddly it feels like. i know i shouldnt bother about them, but man, sum boarders are doushes

in my town we have a skate park. and there are these kids like 14-16 that go every day. they are all the punk skater hate Bush type. and they all suck so much at skateboarding. but they think they are good and made a skateboard team. it is sad really
