Skate, Skate 2, or Skate 3

i gotta say skate 3 is retardedly sick. good spots to skate, create a park, you can drop smaller/medium features wherever you want... only thing that bothers me at all is how you have to flip differently. no big deal though
 
Skate 2 is my favorite. You get a bunch of new tricks you can't do in Skate and the city has the most realistic vibe yet is still full of sick spots.

Skate 3 controls a lot better, especially on foot, but the city sucked and the custom parks look and feel crappy, although it is fun to make a double/triple flip jump.
 
fun track can't be beat even though super ultra mega park is fun too. i like the skate 2 flip controls better although i am starting to figure 3 out
 
first skate, hands down. it feels just right, I can do anything I want to in the game. skate 2 and 3 are alright, but they seem too difficult/realistic and too tony hawk at the same time.
 
i'm loving the city in skate 3. while nothing really beats the fun track for ski-like-skate, i'm loving all the weird places i'm finding in 3. favourite so far is the bent sign post hanging off of the side of the building, so much fun.
 
It really sucks that there's no party play..

They probably did that to make more people get xbox live memberships.
 
only gripe about the game, otherwise the new city is the most awesome thing ever in a video gamethe replay value is infinite, and I cant say that about any other game

My one and only gripe with the first Skate is it was a pain in the ass to get to some spots because you couldn't get off your board.
 
I like skate 3 so much. It's so fun to piss people off and then the women taze you. But skate was also very very awesome. Skate 2 was my least fav
 
skate 3 is too tony hawk-ish. I love the feel of skate 1 and 2, but the tricks and features and everything in skate 3 is sick.

motherfucking HATE darkslide catches, i always accidentally press r1 (ps3) and catch darkslide when i am trying to do anything other than a rail, and then i dont flip out of it fast enough and i eat shit.

that and my online doesnt work worth shit, i can play against 1 other person, but once more people join i get kicked, no idea what the fuck is going on with that....

the only thing i would add to skate 3 is the fun track from skate 2, other than that, skate 3 is my favorite
 
the original skate is so easy after you've been playing skate 2 for awhile. haven't played skate 3 yet so i wont say anything about it
 
and danny way's mega compound (doublezz). BUT YOU CANT FUCKING GET OFF YOUR BOARD.

even so, i love all 3 equally for different reasons.

skate 1: for its terrain, the challenges, and both the X games and the mega complex

skate 2: for funtrak, epic bails, and its loveable and hilarious (but sometimes annoying) glitches.

skate 3: for its impossibly massive locations, for the ability to hit women, and for dark catch flips.
