Skate Shoe Suggestions

kidding. janoskis. please dont buy any shoe with an inch thick tongue.

The vans stage 4 are by far the best shoes I have ever skated in my whole life, huf's and gravis also make a great skating show.
FUCK THE JANOSKIS.
unless you don;t intend to skateboard in them. In which case please by them, so skateboarders like me can discern whether you skate or are just wearing "skate style" clothing.

I've skated two pairs of Janoskis and they were one of the best shoes I have ever had. Super comfy but there are a lot more comfy shoes for skating rather than just casual wear so I'd go with the stage 4's too if you're skating them.

Yup, they skate great, look good, and never die. Those cup soles are bombproof, I can get almost a year out of a pair, which blows my mind every time. Good buy too, pretty cheap.

I end up destroying a pair of shoes in about 2 weeks at most, but I still go for as thin a shoe as possible. I like the Addidas that look a little like an indoor soccer shoe, but my favorites are the Gravis 'Dylan Wing-Tip.'

Can't find them anywhere but they are this exact material/color set-up with the exception of the black lines and are the chukka low model I believe.

never buy anything other than skate shoes from them though. Some of their designs look like they were drawn by a 2 year old girl

no matter how much they may be labelled as a "poser" company or whatever shit that dumb kids come up with these days, DC makes some of the most durable skate shoes I've ever seen. however, the best choice I made was skating a pair of Adidas Sambas. I'm notorious for ripping through skate shoes faster than anybody else in my little crew, and my Sambas lasted me months and months of aggressively skating them.

i love dc shoes. i don't skate in them, but it bmx and treat them like shit. i always get about a year and a half out of them. they're bombproof.

I've owned Vans and currently have Janoskis. I will probably never skate in another shoe, they're both really similar in grip/durability. I love the vulcanized soles on the Janoski, and the Vans I've owned, but that's just the feel I like when I skate. The Janoski is the comfiest, sickest looking shoe I've ever owned, and I prefer them over vans purely because I love the way they look.
