Skate helmet??

arite i need a new helmet for this year cause my last years one is to small now nd i was wondering if i suld just wear a beanie wit googles and just put the skate helmet on top. I saw alot of people doing this last year and a ski helmet is alot of money and i already have a skate helmet. tell me wat u think.

Skate helmets don't offer nearly as much protection as ski helmets. I wouldn't use a skate helmet if I were you.

Skateboarding helmets for skateboarding.

Skiing helmets for skiing.

This is the way I see it the helmet for skiing is specifically designed to reduce skiing related head injuries a skateboarding helmet is for skateboarding head injuries. You can get helmets pretty cheap just go to a ski shop and they usually have last year helmets for sale for like $80-100.

i use a skate helmet. that being said - I don't wear a helmet, i just put one on during competitions when I have to.

a skate helmet won't actually do much in a ski accident.

id say that a ski helmet would be better, but im no expert on helmets. at least wearing a skate helmet is better than no helmet

you could get prior years' helmets for much cheaper than $80. I got a smith holt for $45 new on Backcountry.com.

That is true shop's have a bigger mark up then online especially in Canada. Go for a ski helmet man you won't regret it.

same with poc. its like the receptor mutlisport, its more expensieve, but way less than 5 specific helmets
