Skate 4

I literally was just playing Skate 3. I love the game so much. So many people agree with us that EA should make a new one but I have never heard anything about them planning on making skate 4
 
Quite recently they had to start re-printing skate 3 copies because there was such high demand for them, no clue why they didnt make a skate 4, theres still hope though!
 
PLS. Skate 2 and 3 are two of my favorite games of all time. Even today I still find new spots to session. So much replay value.
 
If you go on EA's Instagram, like every comment is people asking for skate 4. Too bad black box (dev of the skate series) is no more, but I'm sure some company can follow the path that the other games have taken, and hopefully previous Black Box developers can help work on it.
 
I hate to say it, but the company/developer of the Skate. series was Blackbox. Blackbox fell apart a little after Skate 3 was released due to some movement issues/getting bought out or something. If EA were to make Skate 4, they most likely would have done it by now.. I still pray for a Skate 4.

On the Microsoft website it says that eventually skate 3 will be put on the reverse compatibility list for xb1. Not sure when tho.
 
Yeah EA basically just dropped the skate franchise when they had to make budget cuts a couple of years back. Skate 4 will probably definitely not exist.

Yeah until they come out with a skate or snowboard game for the next-gen consoles that is pretty much why I am keeping mine around haha.

The whole having to pay 10 bucks to play online thing if you buy it used is fucking ridiculous too.

Idk. I can understand it to an extent but it makes you come across as a greedy douchebag.
 
Someone should start a kickstarter to purchase the rights to the Skate franchise, and find developers to create it. It would be great to find the original devs at blackbox and have them work on it, with rights to a percent of the total profits of the game.

Not sure how possible this is but not gonna lie if someone set something like this up so many people would fund it

Is this true? I bought a copy of it a few months ago because my original copy was fucked and I can get online no problem

Yeah. It's all EA games. Still a thing as of last year or two. Probably fine because you already had it on your account
 
Yeah i heard they were making a skate 4 like a few years ago but it was a rumor then i heard a year ago there were making one but i guess it was all just rumors
 
it would be so sick to combine skate 1 and 2 for a new skate. Gravity is way cooler in those games except in skate 2 you can't control all the grabs quite like you can in skate 1. That would be epic
 
I've spent countless hours on fun track in party play on Skate 2. I played that for years, even after Skate 3 came out. It was always fun trying to throwing doubles over that first rail.
 
The Berrics started the #MakeEASkateAgain tag on insta. If you want a laugh go to EA's page and check out the comments on literally any of their photos. I honestly don't know how they can ignore it. Sometimes when I'm bored I go spam their page.

skate 2 was my favorite video game for quite some time. Since skate 3 has been backward compatible i've already got 12 hours and practically beat it lmao

Haha gonna have to go spam EA's page now. I would even be happy if they at least brought back online support / multiplayer for skate 3.

Scratch that, I'm just an idiot. I guess the only thing that wasn't working for me was the community maps thing. So once again, get at me if you like jibbin parks. TrickyBenda420 on Xbox live.
 
OG Skate. at the mega compound is probably the most played thing in a video game ive done. Skate 2 was fun but I spent countless hours on Skate 3 with the filmer pack DLC trying to film realistic lines and stuff like a total nerd. very fun.

also glitching the park builder and making some pretty sweet real-life like spots was amazing too. I downloaded some parks that people really made incredible.
