i hope to god this hasnt already been posted.... but yeeaahhh skate 3 is comin!! it looks reallyy sick how well you can control your board in terms of flipping it halfway into the darkslide (which is gay btw).

at the end it says team up skate up or whatever and throughout the whole trailer its 3 skaters riding together i dunno about you guys but i think thats kinda weird but im loookin forward to see how that works.

I thought that the point of skate was to be more realistic than the tony hawk games. they are looking quite similar right about now besides the controller setup.
 
cool to see how the games progressed. hope they do something different with the city though, refacing it didnt make it entirely as fresh as a new city

how about instead of giving us tony hawk shit you fix the bugs in skate 2?

 
Im gonna make a game thats better than skate with a small skateboard with no wheels that you and set on your ground and judging on you feet movement it will decide what trick you do and if you land it!!! if someone could come up with somthing like that just like skate i would be happy
 
still think the first one is by far the best, and most enjoyable to play. We don't even have Skate 2 for the PS3 here anymore...

Hope this new version is better.
 
microsoft is coming out with a new system or just an add on to the 360 (i cant remember) and it has exactly what u described haha. it has a small skateboard you stand on and everything, and no wheels...
 
I think that the game should have a whole new city that skates totally realistic. But.... I think they should redo the Mega Ramp and make it bigger and they should let you do doubles on lock. You could do them in the first game but it would be dope to have them included. Basically make the mega ramp super huge and unreal like tony hawk but with dope doubles and then have the rest of the city play like normal skateboarding
 
this is what i think new skate should be realistic shit like the first one and second one but with a sick realistic city and skateparks but also some things that are unrealistic tony hawk shit i mean it is a video game theres gotta be a few things. they should def also revive xgames park and make the mega ramp again and add a lot more hidden shit and just good stuff to the city that isnt in super gay spots that u have to hire big black to skate
 
mehmy moneys on that you won't be able to do doubles, and theres gonna be more glitches then in 2, which they didn't fix ANY of the rail glitches from 1.

 
yeah but nobody who ACTUALLY skateboards spends any time trying to learn them. yes people can do them but its just not skateboarding.

skate wasnt that bad!!!! at least skate 2 fixed all the problems, and skate 3 looks the same just like different areas
 
this could be fucking awesome. skate 2 was a let down but i still play it way too much. the fun track is just too awesome. IMO the way they are going with this game looks good. my major complaints about skate 1 and 2 were the fact that you cant skate side by side with friends. i hope they can fix the bugs and i hope that the party play feature gets an overhaul and lets the players customize the sessions!.
 
i can think of two people off the top of my head. mullen obviously. and geoff rowly i KNOW did one down a picnic table in sorry. people do them, it is skateboarding.
 
looks like it is merging into tony hawk land now, i knew it wouldn't last. the public can't handle a solid realistic skate game for long..
 
really? making it possible to do everything you can on a real skateboard makes it tony hawk land?

i dont understand how you guys are getting pissed about darkslides and underflips, THINGS YOU CAN ACTUALLY DO IN REAL LIFE. and not about the double corks and shit you can do on the mega ramp, FAKE. ITS A FUCKING VIDEO GAME. if i want it to be EXACTLY like real skating, then ill get off my ass and GO FUCKING SKATE.
 
looks like they arnt done with the graphics. It is wayyy to early to be releasing a trailer. That shit was a roughhhh sketch of what its gonna be like.

Oh yeah, Skate 2 is WAY better than skate 1.
 
did i ever say "people cant do them"? no. in fact i said the opposite. i said people DON'T do them cause its a stupid fucking trick.

what im saying is they shouldnt be wasting time on developing circus tricks like darkslides (soon we'll have pogos and other bullshit) when they could be developing bug fixes, better spots, more styles, more clothes, more everything.

i for one dont like that theres only one style of skating in Skate 2. in 1 you could pick whether you were mellow or aggressive or whatever. do that again but better! i want my skater to fucking hammer hte ground everytime he pushes and have super sketch style, while someone else might want super controlled fluid PJ Ladd style skating.
 
why are they trying to rock the whole "skate together" thing?

They just need to work on the physics and animations to make it better.

ive heard ea always tends to go half assed in games, so there's the possibility of them messing this one up.

but i unno... we'll see when it comes out.
 
looks sick! cant wait to play it. i played skate 1 the other day and noticed how much worse the graphics are. and you can do doubles in the original game
 
you can? between me and my friend weve never been able to huck em fast enough. if youve figured out how to doubles over that jump then you must be some sort of skate god. thats not even the largest jump. if anywhere on the fun track, it would be where you gap over into the huge bowl at the end. we were doing huge rodeos over that
 
everyone can do doubles......

they just suck dick in skate 2 and are like 50% luck if ya land or not

skate one

they actually look good

and are easy to be styleish
 
Looks sick i hope they fix all the glitches from skate 2. I wish the tricks you did switch were not as perfect as your regular tricks just to make it more realistic.

i only used the PS3 box cause it was the first cover art pic to come up in google image search... it has nothing to do with the fact that i dont own a 360.

i counted the bodies

i just kept running them all into a square

and fucking owning them

shit took like thirty minutes....

especially the counting.
