Hey, sorry, i didn't really know where to put this cuz theres no blading part..

anyways. My friend and I just got new agressive skates. He used to go all the time then stopped for some reason. Then i mentioned wanting some so we both snagged a pair (his didnt fit him anymore). Likewise - we wanted to hit up the skatepark. So his dad drove us to the burton place in burlington (where he works) and we rode the mini and the bowl. I made lots of fprogress for my first day - dropped in and stalled the mini and lower parts in the bowl.

There were only us and maybe 10 different boarders throughout the day. Awesome first day.

So we go again 2 days later. All is goin well i drop in on the tallest part of the bowl. feelin pretty good about my self. then a couple skaters keep eyin us and then lookin back at eachother laughin and shit.

then ones like "the rollerskaters trash the pipe with lame marks. I mean, 'bladersss'" and laughh with a friend.

so my friend did the same thing about the boarderss.

I mean all we were trying to do was go have some fun and we totally had the impression we were NOT welcome there. i know it is a snowboard company thus many skaters - but still.

Anyone else have simiar probs? There just arent enough agressive inliners around here. we need to get a shitload and then all go skate that bowl. instead of 2 bladers versus 10 skatass. but yea, it just doesnt have the turnout it used to and we really dont get "ACCEPTED" by other.

ok there goes my boring assmonday night. honestly i have nothing better to do now so i typed that whollee shit out...

i skateboard i dont hate on them, some of those guys are fucking nuts, some blader was givin me lip so i hopped on his skates and showed him i could do a few things, he was pretty embarassed it was kinda funny, he stoped hating tho now everyone gets along,

Actually us "bladers" were originally called skaters. Skateboaders stole our name because we gave it up and wanted to call our sport "aggressive inline". Cop Barely Dead and you'll see what I'm talking about.

i get the hate alot but just ignore it dude

some parts of roller blading can be gay but i try to work on stuff that will help my skiing

only n00bs hate on rollerblading

or n00bs in rollerblading get hated on

with reason

once you get good and stop saying bladas it wont happen

i skate and my friends hate fruitbooters...i think it's rad because of all the similarities to skiing and it looks so fun to flow through a park on rollerblades...but you guys have to put up with a lot of shit...im sorry, make a comeback?

I've been rollerblading since 95 and in my 12 years of rolling I've seen many come and go, and I have to say, it's stuff like what happened to you that weeded out the people who were only doing it to be "cool". Do it because you like it and shit like that will just roll off your back. As someone already said, rollerblading seems to be the most hated on sport (aside from skiboarding). Anyway, we all had to start somewhere, the more you do it, the more you'll progress and you'll notice those skateboarders that talked shit will remain doing the same ole stagnant tricks.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

good advice. maybe if i keep goin at it and keep tryin new stuff ill throw down a solid run and get some more respect. but even my friend who is good gets some shit.

w/e, i think it really fun to do so im sticking with it.

A few of the guys that skate there are lust plain deush bags.

The first few times we skated there the guys there where chill, we where all ripping it up, they said to come back anytime as long as there was people there and the gate was open feel free to come hit it up. We a had a few more sessions and then one time we skated and from the get go got mad attitude. None of us where being deushbags, and where actaully hanging back a bit and not dropping in a ton. But then one of the guys got all in our face and said that since we were not with any one from the company at the time (i do know people that work there) that we had to leave. It a really nice bowl, but i hate dealing with all the hate i get there.

Call it ROlling...haha, I dunno, people hate...I like rolling. Its fun, helps balance, makes me feel like Im skiing or something. Whatev's. Do your best to pretend like it doesn't affect you. The more you start showing up the more you let em know ur not going anywhere...ya know?!

how many bladers does it take to session a rail?

11, I to actually do the trail and another 10 to film it, hahahahahaha

no im kidding tho, bladers get some respect cause i know 2 that absolutly fucking rip it. But theres always going to be hate on bladers, its like skiers hating on snow bladers, its always gona happen

exactly man. the first day they were fine then the 2nd time we went was when we got the crap. But were not gonna stop going - i mean my buddys dad works there so i dont think they can kick us out - and he can always open it for us. But even on the second day we didnt go too much cause we didnt wanna hog the bowl and get shit. but yea its a really nice bowl.

I honestly didn't read the thread at all. When i saw the title i was like " Whats a bladas? Skatas? Its always weird to hear these kids from other country talk in their native language on NS. " But then i realised that it was just HORRIBLE grammer.

i gots respect for em, just the cocky ones that are complete ass holes to everyone need to go home and get their legs broken.

we dont want our sport to be called rollerblading or aggressive inline we want it to be called freestyle rolling.

rollerblading hard? ha! some dude was trying a triple backflip in the x GAYmes like 3 years ago haha rollerblading hard

so true

ive meet some real chill skaters that are mad good

and then dicks that sit around all day and hate on people

Dude, NO ONE wants it to be called "freestyle rolling". That's just some term that |B|Unique (or is it dipskate?) came up with. Ask anyone on be-mag or rollernews and they'll tell you that's a stupid way to refer to "rolling"
