Yeah dude - THANK YOU! I saw Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra play one song on TV about two years ago and really liked it but I couldn't remember their name until now! Awesome stuff. Hopefully I can download an album of theirs and take my collection past one week long (currently at 6 days, 23 hours, 16 minutes)...

 
i dont know, i dont remember where i first heard them but i just have about 10 random songs (since i wanted to buy an album but theyre all imports), theyre so awesome though and i'm probably going to see live in june at the sunset house of blues. where did you find the cds for download?

 
I found downloads on IRC on a channel called ska_something or something. I search using packetnews.com and use mIRC to download. I've been using this for over 6 months and I'll never use anythign else again. Slightly harder to find more obscure stuff on there, but I find most things eventually.

I didn't download any of their stuff yet. I got the new Mad Caddies though to take me past the one week mark - a nice way to do it I think.

Ahhh, new Mad Caddies, definitely one of my favorite albums besides streetlight. 10 West is just so damn catchy!

hmm yeah well im in japan right now and i just went to hmv, a massive cd shop and well i just got to listen to tokyo ska paradise orchestra and the first note that played convinced me to buy their cd!!! TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA IS DA SHIIIIIIT!!!

There are lots of really bad ska band names. Skarmy of Darkness anyone?! HAHA. Anyway, everyone go to purevolume.com and check out two bands. The first is Montys Fan Club. They are totally awesome, they put on some of the best live shows EVER (not to mention Hearts Bleeding is AMAZING). Secondly, check out East Coast Skank. It's my band, the recording sucks, and the singer wasn't present so our trombone player had to sing lead. Well anyway, i'm just looking for opinions.

holy shit....i dont knkow why i came back and decided to look at this topic but anyayws, hepcat... i decided to go to your bands website for some reason (havent listened to any songs yet)....but did you really play a show with streetlight and big d on the 8th? if so, you are my hero. seriously..that is awesome
