Lag wagon, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes is also considered ska. Love the Planet Smashers, i think the are the what every ska band wants to be. This is what ska is suppost to sound like. Plus old school ska bands like the English Beat, good stuff.

Matman10: Man lat you had that 7 down but you binder poped off

Laterails:Yeah i think they aren't adjusted, or it could be the fact that all that is holding them together is one of my pubes

The Specials of course. I'm obsessed with Sublime, and Leftover Crack rips it up too.

Before 1954, when the United States was in the middle of the Cold War, the pledge did not include a reference to God. In adding it, members of Congress said they wanted to set the United States apart from 'godless Communists.

^ he meant the aquabats. if you can't see how the aquabats are kind of-fucked up in the nature of their songs, then you are a fool. they perform in scuba-diving suits for pete's sake

catch 22, aquabats, goldfinger, etc.... long beach dub allstars have a ska tone. they're what's left of sublime. our marchingband is playing an aquabats tune in the show this year. it kicks ass.

Reel Big Fish and those ska bands are a bunch of whiny bitches. The way ska is going, it seems more like upbeat emo, than reggae. I do like Jeffries Fan Club though. It makes me giggle

"Who's playing tonight?"

"The Shitty Beatles"

"Are they any good?"

"No they suck. Good Name though."

^haha yea reel big fish's lyrics are extreemly emo but bands like planet smashers are still just focused on partying and having fun and shit

-uncomfortable as a ass virgin in prison

-experience is something you get after you really need it

choking victim, leftover crack, morning glory, .... they arent ska, they are crack rock steady or squatta rock or whatever you want to call it. not ska, but good shit, some of my favorite bands.

and i looked through and i didnt see anyone mention the slackers. they are good ska if you like the 2 tone scene. I wouldnt concider less than jake ska though. more like pop-punk with horns. a few of their songs are ska but mostly not.

Kill Cops

FIF,Catch 22 , rbf, i voted 4 koodos , big D, Suburban Legends, and many more

Steeze its whats for dinner

Reserrecting this thread for some suggestions. I'm really liking pretty hard ska-punk just now (Link 80 and RX Bandits are perfect examples). Could anyone suggest some similar stuff for me to try?
