179 with out a doubt. im riding 182 and they are small on me and i have ionly 1 inch one you.

how you gonna say that ... maybe hes only skiied once and hes out east, then he doesnt need the 179

I'm just getting back into skiing. i started when i was 4 yrs old. started boarding in 3rd grade. I'm also in michigan so not skiing any pow really. Thanks for the help

They'll be great to learn on, but when you get better you may want to get longer skis.

its not about height. im on 174's, im 5' 1'', 160lbs. the pe in 174 in a great ski. i have it. very responsive, fairly light, good all around the mountain

if u rip, go w/ tha 179- if ur new or hittin smalla hits then go w/ tha 174- both r a really good size
