Does anyone know how they did and what they threw down? I'd really like to know, since I think they are really good and are progressing the support so much. Thanks
 
^ ya i wanted to know that too. its weird that they have the "young guns" who are new riders to the sport at the "masters"
 
there were 4 winners for the young guns, but onnly 3 guys allowed per team....they played a game of pig the day before to see who had to sit out...and it was shea...super shitty it had to come down to that, but they all shredded the gnarkill anywho. It was a bummer that the guys didnt all quite ski to their potential...they also got scored horrible because they were the first to go..and they sessioned with rossi who got the best first round score out of anyone. Its hard to look good when your skiing side by side with candide...that being said schuster had one of the cleanest pretzels onn the downnrail all day...walker stomped almost every run, and lj and sash both killed it on all the rails...they made a pretty damnn good showing for being complete unnderdogs...all the guys were more than stoked on just bein in the event, and having the respect from the industry....they beat head, but really everyone in the whole event killed it...so hey...were all winners!!!! but yea...they all had a blast and thats what counts

Your definatley not supposed to take the masters seriously. Its about fun hence the costumes, apparently 9th had the most fun of anyone.

the young gun team even going to the mastrs is a complete fucking joke. og course they were going to get thier asses whooped. most of them probably never competed agaist people half as good, just because they beat a bunch of kids at thier local mountain to win the young gun doesnt mean shit. lil jons tight

hahaha, no i just think that the masters was over kill, mabye the us open next year. those kids might be good later on but, but they arent at masters level yet
 
let me tell you from experience....LJ has alot mroe rail skill than 90% of the pros out there....he is absolutely amazing on rails. so talented, only thing is that he isnt always consistant, but thats because the shit he does is so hard that you cant be consistant with it
 
well, we got 9th, we straight up beat head and were one point away from beating atomic, and i bet if we had gone later in the day we would have been in with 4frnt and 9thward around 6th or 7th place... but yea i dunno if any of us are good enough to compete in the open, i mean thats a whole different level, i mean i did ok in the open last year and got into the big air, but i dunno if i should go back because i am a young gun now and we arent at that high level yet...
 
dude wait, who are you? why didnt you go win the young gun if its so easy to win. i can guarntee you couldnt beat any of the young guns, including sasha.
 
you might want to kill yourself soon...just a thought.....saying those kids arent at that level is a joke....im pretty sure walker won his heat at the open this year...and killed the big air...but your right...MAYBE they would be ready for that comp next year huh....once again..you dont have the slightest idea what your talking about...so please stop saying stupid shit.
 
i think that's a lie, cause everyone knows that leprachauns can't ski well enough to do well at the us open!

first off i wasnt on the young gun team..i just ski for siver so i was with them the whole time...secondly head came in last...thirdly nobody was dq'd which means once again nobody knows what they are talking about...and please...dont call me a dumbass
 
lots of hormones flying around here...lil john was too busy "sessioning the banners" to try to win the thing anyway...
 
saying that the young guns aren't at the level of all of the other pro's is foolish. All of them are incredibly tallented kids, especially lj at rails. and Walker, Shea, and Shuester at jumps. It's to bad Shea didn't compete as well he kills it soo hard, hes fearless.

but everything else you say is so untrue. I was actually at the stratton young gun and i can assure you plenty of good people were there (including jeff kiesel), and they werent just "kids from the local mountain" alex flanders-schlopy flew out from colorado to get a second chance to win (he got 2nd or 3rd can't remember) and he threw down. so maybe know what you're talking about before you say anything. you are an 11 post newb for obvious reasons.
 
alright the dumbass comment was out of line but i wasn't saying anything about ninthward. I was assuming they were still on the scoreboard since their scores for salomon were still valid therefore they came in last but i guess they didn't
 
the ygo team is nasty, and not at pro level eh?, matt walker got 2nd at AWOL in between i think pep and jacob wester
 
It's amazing how good the YG team was and how much we underestimate the pros of today. Think of it, if you watched the YG team throw down, it's amazing and yet they still wheren't even able to compete with the pros. It's crazy how sometimes we can overlook on how good the pros really are.
 
oh god i just read the rest of the threads in here and am so unhappy. im not even going to begin with my unhappiness tho cause its hardly worth it.
 
ur right matt for instance only beat jacolbe wester and placed 2nd in AWOl only to be beaten by pep, he made it to the semis in the us open only to et fucked over, and slayed the USFO big air but other than that he and the reat of the YGO team may be good ONE day man kno yo shit then talk
 
you are possibly the biggest tool on the face of earth, like seriously, i have never read a dumber post! those guys kill it! matt walker...enough said. LJ just straight up destroys, hes got MAD rail skills.joe schuster is just good at everything, he had a part in safety meeting. shea flynn...dont know much about him but hes pretty good from what i hear. and then sasha is possibly one of the best skiier girls for being 16 and having only skiied 3 years....or 10 years even would be good. watch your mouth next time.
