Siver really dead

i guess the deal is that the stuff that has been made will be sold but they're not going to be making anymore

Orage and siver have been owned by the same company/person for a long time bro.

And they wouldn't go outa business if they put there super steezy colors and designs on more than 5,000mm waterproof material.

listen to all you idiots, "thats a douchebag move by orage" are you fucking kidding me? This may be the ski industry but it is a "INDUSTRY" that means buisness. This was a buisness move, orage saw the opertunity to close in on a part of the market they wanted and had the means to do it, so they did. Thats how buisness works. Yea its kinda shitty that Siver wont be making stuff any more, but lets face it, there is some pretty big money to be made in the skiing world and orage wanted a bigger part of that.

That's too bad. It really wasnt the greatest quailty though. I couldnt even handle mine for a full season, i had to go get new stuff half way through. but they were good on the whole freestyle scene, so their presence will be missed.

you realize that orage is one of the few companys that is still owned by the origional people who started the company right?

god damn i love siver. but arent orage and siver owned by the same company so how can orage buy siver? but if they can/do buy siver i will still support them cuz they'll still make sick shit

it is true orage had owned siver for like 3 or 4 years. i think orage should stick with the young guns open, it's a good idea.

What does that have to do with anythng i said? I really have no idea who owns them at all. But cool fact, thats actually really sick.

actually orage has owned siver for a couple of years now. orage is the one that sold siver and hence why its dead.

and orage never bought siver, Coalission, the owner of orage bought siver a couple years back.

Just like Ahmer sport who bougth Salomon and how Quicksilver bought the rossignol group

noone was asking for a market ANAList people are upset that siver is no longer a company and mad about orage taking them over, chill out man

Anyway, the real question was if SIVER was dead. So not caring about who owns it, will siver keep making stuff? or will it disapear this year?

uh, the kid that he was responding to posted the dumbest statement in this thread. If he hadn't responded I know I would have. some fuckin' people

i think that this has already been talked about...but hey why don't we talk about it some more. It makes you think about whats going on in the ski industry really. Companies like line, and Siver having a super hard time getting by. Is skiing really as big as we think it is, is it still a growing sport, or has it reached its peak. It makes you ask alot of questions about whats going on.

Siver was always owned by orage. Orage decided that Siver Cartel wasn't profitable so they're stopping it.

Man, I feel sorry for Mike Nick...to have his company driven into the ground is a shitty situation.

I'm going to start a "Save the Siver" Campaign.
