erich, $100 may be a fair chunck of cash but its cheap compared to whats out there, good quality stuff can be upwards of $250+ US. Evan though mike says he wants to keep the stuff cheap for the riders, you have to look at how much it cost to make, the little profit Mike needs to make, all the costsw of the middle men to the consumer. Look at lots of the skis out there that are made to be in expensive for the consumer. How do they make them cheap, they produce a lowwer quallity ski by cutting corners. These products work for most people because a lot of them are weekend warriors that will barely get the use out of the equiptment and or dont ski the stuff hard enough to break it. Siver outerwear line may be a good quality but you have to look at everything that goes into the product, and is it more a fashion sense than anything else> I dont know what the product is like yet, i havent seen what its made of or how its made. Look into stuff before you buy it and compare it with other stuff, dont just buy it becuase someone on ns said its good. It may be warm but so is a wool sweater, how water proof is it and how long will that water proof last
I just wanna ski, is that to much to ask in life
