i went back and checked out that article thatr showed all of the coats and pants that siver is putting out this year. i get down to the comments and everyone says ' looks good and vcery affordable' or 'not too expensive either'. scroll back up, check the prices. am i reading the same thing as everyone else? 140$ for a pair of snow pants? i dont have that kind of money. honestly, how many people can just drop 140$ on a pair of snowpants that mill more then likely rip and might need to be replaced next season. on to the coats... look very sick. 200$. let me make a list of things to buy with 200$.

i got a black dot coat for $100. its comfy, practical and not hideous. pants are a bit tougher but...

im not paying over 100 for snow pants to be replaced every year

if they were fifty, id buy new ones every year.

quality is not always reflected in price. for instance, ive got some 20$ airwalks now and they last me a year before they get torn from skating. i garuntee you that DC's do the same thing for 50$ more

i guess nobody is quite understanding me. i agree in comparison that its a reasonable price. however, why does it have to be that price? if they really want to sell shit, drop everything $50 and i garuntee you that it will be the most popular brand for coats and snowpants. kids will see the prices being 50 less then others and buy it, i know i would. then, hopefully the other companies would need to lower them to compete. i guess i feel like all of the coat companies have unofficially set fixed prices. whatever though, im done ranting in this thread and you can all attempt to convince me that $150 for a pair of pants is cheap. all i can say is that for 150$ they better be gold plated and with a diamond studed belt

^ if u drop it 50, their overhead and production costs are going to almost encompass the PROFIT...im not saying its 75 dollars to make this gear, but c'mon...150 for pants is LOW compared to what u can find...hell my SMS pants were 250 retail, thank god i got em free or else i woulda said 'fuck that'....140 for pants really is a bargain compared to everything else out there

You gotta see the prices as business... the company needs to charge that much, for one to make money, profit, and two to compete with other companies. Plus don't you think a high price usually high quality follows?

^yeah oakley is horribly expensive, i saw that oakley jacket that seth has and i had a couple hundred bucks in my pocket to get it but it turns out to be 425 dollas and the pants arent to far behind at 240, crazy! i can get stuff with oakley logos on it in the dominican republic for 1% of that cost! They have reasobly priced goggles but their jacket costs are just crazy, next to those oakley jackets the siver one is priced like a flea market item

My jacket cost me 360 and my pants cost like 200. Im not a rich kid either, so don't go playing that card. I worked my ass for something I really wanted, and I can easily say that my stuff is worth every penny of what I paid.

I got a convert jacket for 150, but sivers stuff isnt a bad deal at all compared to some of the other stuff out there. i have seen ski pants for 200+ bucks. I am definetly getting me a pair of siver pants because they have to be wicked strong because they are made by skiers so they should last a few years

Siver prices are good compared to oakley and other major companies including guys like Burton, Special Blend, FOursquare, 686

If you want waterprof, breathable, well desgined functionable outwear, good luck getting something for 50 bucks, it's not possible, it'll just be cheap ass shit. If you don;t have money like most of us, keep your panties on and wait till the end of the season when you can snag some resonable prices on stuff.

I dont mind payin more for outerwear knowing its not gonna rip two days after i get it like the cheap shit will.
