ok so August 10th is me and my good friends birthday (19&18). we've been schemeing this epic day for months, itll probably be a double kegger so it will be pretty legit. BUT a few days ago a friend of the community died in a car crash due to alcohol. Everyone is upset, i barely new the kid and i felt horrible, he was the nicest kid ever, everyone loved him. ive been hearing some talk around that people no longer wanna party anymore. i mean my crew wasnt real tight with him, but we knew him well enough to grieve a bit. and i dont wanna be an asshole, but my bday is coming up. so... what are your thoughts NS.

You might just want to get a few friends together and relax while kicking back some beers

Something like that's really heavy and it 'll be a little while before people want to really party again

+ vibes, man.

that sucks. If ur still going to have the party, a lot of people, if not everyone, should be aware of what happened, so i think people will probably try to be more responsible.... despite this, taking keys at the door or asking people to walk to the party would be a good idea...

I don't think your buddy would want you guys to not have a good time just because he may have screwed up...just be responsible with it. again, +vibes

yeah not the thread for that, it is what i thought of but not the time to actually post it. To the OP i would say just chill throw a party to make up for it at a later time.

Dude i really wouldn't worry about this ruining your party, like a kid died, i would just keep it low key having a few friends over and doing something mellow is probably the best idea.
