Site Speed..

I've noticed NS has been reallllly slow during peak times lately. It probably has to do with the 90 members and 200 guests online at the exact same time.

Just to let you know that I'm aware of the problem and will optimize some key scripts to speed things up. Until then, sorry about the inconvenience.

Matt

Ya, I've sorta noticed, but I figured you'd get things on your own eventually. And slow NS is better then no NS. Keep up the good work and churn out the hoodies!!

Oh yeah the friends lists in the online window aren't working, and the number of picture comments aren't working. I disabled them during the peak to speed things up a bit (they're two major performance concerns that I need to fix).

Matt

yeah i dont use NS at peak times now cause its so much easier in the mornings

I ahve 56k but its not really that bad I just talk on AIM while I wait for a page to load, but things like getting rid of that page after you post help out a lot.

one thing that wud sped things up a bit is if you went back to having thumbnails of the pictures. ok, it wouldn't but I liked it soo much more that way.
