Sitckers on skis

I've seen some sick ones. Someone was selling a pair of Rossignol Scratch FS wrs's (yellow ones) with a siiick sticker job.
 
well only if your good at stickering sutff, and die-cut stickers looki sick.

i have a black die-cut NS sticker on the tip of my ski( where it is white) and a white d-structure( my favorite shop) one on the back

and on my other ski i have a white d-structure sticker at the top and a black NS at the bottom.

it looks ill
 
I have a sweet burton sticker, and a ride sticker on my skies. I also spraypained a tech nine stencil on my powder skis.
 
im a fan of diecuts, normally i dont put them on my skis, but airblaster got me in argentina, so i threw a diecut oakley across my tip and it looks legit, but yeah if they arent diecut they look kinda gay, i hate stickers on helmets, they look aweful
 
If the ski is bland then sticker it up.

But with all the new skis with cool artwork on them I think stickers should not be put on them.
 
I do sticker my skis a little bit in an attempt to detour theives. and as they get more and more beat up, the more and more stickers I put on them.
 
I agree stickers on skis is just ugly. Though stickers on helmets is cool sometimes, there is such a thing as too many stickers on a helmet.
 
i would never put them on something like jon ollson pros but maybe on something like last years rossi's
 
I would have to disagree.....stickers make skis look even more sick....it allows you to add your own touch....just plain all the time can get old
 
You gotta find the right sticker for the right ski an put it in the right spot, its alot harder to make em look steezy on skis than boards, but it can be done
 
If the ski has good graphics, its pointless, but you can put together some damn good sticker jobs...especiall if you make your own. I find stickers just tend to fall off skis anyway though after a 3-12 days.
 
If it's done tastefully it can look cool. I don't have any stickers on my skis. My dad has a pair of '05 PE's and he didn't like the cop as the main graphic so he put a pigs face over the cops face. It looks better now :P
 
it depends on the sticker and ski

for instance, i personally dont like putting stickers on my skis.

i recently put a diecut sticker on my thugs, but that reps the ski shop

and i put some sweet stickers on my prophet 90s(not the most sticker compatible i would like to add) but they are sweet, in the beck cd "nausea". it came with a sticker pack of odd assortments

i place a sticker saying "no complaints" and a bunch of blobs all over the place

i like it

 
i just put stickers on my helmet...its pretty much full now so i don't know where to put them any more...oh well...other stickers i think we are going to load one chair at our ski area with a bunch of stickers...that would be fun
 
How can you people say that stickers on skis is lame but you put them on your helmet?! Personally i think that makes you look like an 8 year old with stickers all over your head. So many companies give out stickers how can you resist not putting them on your skis??
 
they have to accent the ski......like i have two huge helly hansen stickers that i put onto my prophet 130s. They have black lettering on the skis, and the stickers that are black. Its such a clean look, and all my stickers are in a pattern, in white.
 
yea if you sticker em up good and pattern them they look sick. espescially if u can get a bunch of the same ones, or make them hang over the edges and then cut them with a razor. die cuts are tight its all about what u like and not having the same ski and every one else. putting stickers on your bases is bad though.
 
my old man wons a flag and banner company and he has vinyl cutting machines and the software to cut anything...

i make my own stickers...

i had a really ballin sticker on my tripplets, it was a pepsi one that said dont do drugs. but then i had to warrenty them.
 
if ya have a really plain pair of skis then stickers look really good and you can make your own graphic with em pretty much. If your ski already has a really busy graphic then ya should only have a few in places where there isnt a ton going on or else they look retarded.
 
If a brand sponsors you, then you have to, so if your not sponsored you should be able to put anything you want on your skis.  And when like 100 kids have your skis, stickers are the only way to keep your own flavor. Also good vinyl die-cuts are a pain to get off, hence adding a little security, my skis would be id'ed in a second, due to decals. But they must be done right and tasteful, I hate like weed leafs and naked chicks, stay classy!
 
I use a redbull sticker on each pair of my skis. Just a couple stickers looks good to me.
 
why doesnt somebody start a thread where you post pictures of your stickered skis, and then people can comment on them and stuff?
