Ok i starting doing this grab awhile ago and when I was at Blue i would do it off of a small table and people are now picking it up!...It's called a sister grab because it is a safety twister...if you grab safety with you left hand then kick legs to the right!...you can tweak it to!..just try it next season or wherever cause it has good style and fun to do!..i throw it in spins to. i spin left and grab left so while i'm spinning left i'm kicking my legs to the right and looks really unigue!..People at Blue are doing it all over the place now!..haha keep it up!

it does look really cool when he does it in a spin. he threw one really good one. it was like a 720 leading safety tweeked away from the spin... really cool. another cool grab is doing true tail grabs - so fun.

Not only the trick is old, but the name is too. I grab Jeff Thomas' sister all the time when I ski,or at least I think about it.

no... it's close to a parallel, but a paralell is grabbing un uncrossed mute with your leading hand... not just grabbing safety - paralell grabs are way harder, but also way cooler if you can do it without flailing.

you guys dont really know do you? sister? i dont think so...... that is just a saftey grab to the side, big deal.... that just makes it a different style you cant call it a different name.

also paralell is not just an uncrossed mute, parallel is a cool grab if you do it right. dont do it. thats my damn trick. haha

Yes... although my friends always get mad at me for some reason every time I do a sister grab... it's my favorite trick. I prefer to think of it as cementing the bonds of friendship. ;)

It really shouldn't have a new name. Here is why: The only real purpose of naming tricks is for reference and basically everyone in the entire world minus the 10 of you that call it a sister grab aren't going to have a clue what that grab is. Therefore, the name isn't really doing its job, is it? If you really want to get technical, then names of tricks should describe what the trick is. However, only a very small minority of tricks actually adhere to these guidlines, (Lincoln Loop, tail grab, maybe a few others?) then call it whatever the hell you want, it doesn't matter anyways.

 
Well I'm saying to the people at my local hills thats what it is called!!..i'm not trying to be praised for making up a new grab but just thought you guys should try the trick thats all!
