It was pretty good. It didn't really mean anything though, and it didn't sound raw either, and the flow lags at times.

Probably the best rapping I've seen on NS though haha.
 
big props to matt for doing what he loves and putting out some great music. hes come a long ways from where he started and he show hes definitely got some real talent.
 
I approve, 100%. Much respect...to anyone who has the balls to put something on record/tape for others to judge. I was inspired. Here's a few bars I spit over a beat I had never heard before. Zion I and the Grouch...forget the name. One take, so be gentle. Let's start a motherfuckin' group.

WHATTTT. You have so much talent. I actually think I may have seen your second video before. I cannot freestyle that well for the life of me. oh well, something to work on.

 
I appreciate the positive feedback, but alas, definitely not "freestyle".....not in the traditional meaning anyway. Freestyle in the sense that I hear a beat and think, "hmm....this verse, these bars would fit this "feel"....annnnnnd....go!"
All of that is comprised of memorized bars...if you're good, you can pick out where I "shuffle through the rhymealog" and find the next few stanzas.
But, for a little bit of self dick-sucking, I don't write anything down.
Again, I really like what you're doing. Keep working.
P.S. The production is dope.
 
word, the kid used to get so much hate. hes been my buddy on here since then cuz i couldnt understand for the life of me why anyone would talk so much shit to him.
 
Sick stuff dude. And to casual (I think I've seen your second video). I remember some of his early stuff, and I'm glad I didn't hate, because this stuff is sick.
 
@casual: Now that's what I call a multisport athlete. Does anybody know if there's a website where Casual writes a Friday column? I'm not sure. But I DID hear that if you find it and leave him enough comments he'll write you a few bars to impress that thuggy girl your white-ass is crushing on.
 
If you want the words "showdy" or "baby girl" in said verse, that shit'll cost you. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

No hate, but you have to work on your voice. most of the rapping was good, but you sound sooooooooooooooooooooo white, which I guess is a bad thing in rap
 
thanks guys. this is a beat I finished today.

Techno Hip-Hop, much more on the hip-hop side. Some nice light reverby piano and heavy, panned out layered synths overtop an 808-kit kickin drum track. no loops or samples.
