So i just picked up my bacons tonight and am planning on getting the marker griffons for them. im wondering where i should mount them. they're my one ski quiver so that means park groomers and whatever pow i can find in eastern pa... could i go full center on them? help would be much appreciated

def dont go center!

mount it where its marked on the ski at the recommended point.

and good luck with those in PA!

everyone said they're gonna work good around here and be alot of fun. but alright. i know the midsole on it is like -2 back, ill probably mount there.

Yeah def do that. It ends up being a center mount anyway. There's about a 1.5 difference in the rise between the tips and the tails so as far as running surface is concerned, your only -.5 of center. If you move up any further than the midsole mark you will essentially be mounted forward of center which is no bueno homie.

i mount mine right on the tails at the bottom of the ski so i have so much tip so they never dive, i personally wouldnt mount them anywhere else

So wish I still had the pick, but we saw some dude at breck on a pair of homemade skis just like that. Literally mounted right before curve in the tails. Wish I could say "omg but he was rippin", but no. Looked super squirrely though.

i ride my bacons -2.5 and they charge hard, crush through everything. might want a -1.5 or-2 mount if you are riding a lot of rails, but for me, i ride mostly steeps and pow so i like it a little back, makes the most out of the early rise.

the main tech at the ski shop i work at showed me this trick on how to see if i could center mount them and of course i cant, but they midsole is where im going to mount.

honestly id say mount them like -15 because up at your mountain i heard they have a ton of deep pow. Oh and your gonna need those for when you hit huge booters and break your humerus, because the top strap on your boot was unbuckled. And you should have known all of because you work at a ski shop right?
