I skied them today. Cut up crud, ice, manmade soft snow, some park.

They're incredibly soft, and insanely fun. Everything I wanted. Super turny with the sidecut but managable in everything and just fun.

This is only a mini-review, because it's not fair to judge the ski in these shithole EC conditions.

And because, well, they delamed.

One day, 10 runs. Delam. Check the pictures. I'm sure Line will take care of me, and Josh and his excelente customer service at Jibij is already on the case.

The ski is so damn fun and now this! BAHHHHHHHHH!

yea thats def a send into line and get a new one free thing send them now so ya still get this years cuz i dont like next years at all

P.S. the "park skiing" I did today involved hitting a box a couple times, striaght airing/grabbing a 20 foot jump, and follow caming in the park...

yo best of luck getting those replaced taylor. ive got some 161 1080s that dont have edges in a few spots which would be an excellent substitute for your sfb's

Why does everyone hate on line? No one that i personally know has had problems with them. My blue 1260's lasted 50 days skiing or more, and harsh wear through tree runs, moguls and such. I was told they'd delam but the never did. I had so much luck with them I got some chronic blends that are a great ski. Plus its not like line's replacement policy is anything but the best.

I'll get a refund and then use it to pay you 600 for those? Deal?

P.S. the ski was defective. The tip on the ski in question didn't rise as high as the opposite ski, and the broken ski's tail rose a few mm's higher than the oppsite ski again. Overall just a bad press on that ski. The other ski is real dope hahaha.

yeha, i was gonna say somthing has to be wrong, this years lines wont just delame like that. i was gonna call it factory defect. but you beat me

sorry to hear bro because i remember you talking about the late arrival. Line will def hook you up

Line makes awesome skis, but the reason I haven't bought any is because of the company. For one reason or another their skis are always late to the market, meaning I would miss all the great pow days we get here in the PNW, and while their return policy is amazing and customer service top notch, I've seen a lot of delamming and defects in their skis. Maybe its just cause I'm on NS and people love to post their problems, but until I see Line step it up, release their shit when they say they will and work some quality control in the factory, I'm not going to put my money into it. Thats just me though....

my mike nicks have had 67 days on them so far and theyre still my only pair of skis. they bang into lots and lots of rocks and trees too... im abusive, they kill it

yea my old ass 1260's orange with ninja's i honestly have no idea what year only have one broken edge from abusive rails they have easily had like 70+ days onthem atleast

ding ding ding. My thoughts exactly. The ideas behind their product is just phenomonal. Now they need to get someone who is a true businessman to run the production and stocking aspect. Jason Lev seems very innovative, but not born to run a business.

I want to snag a pair of Bacons next year, but it will be hard to put in the money knowing I might not get my skis until '08!

i remember someone saying that since line started making skis in china they said that they would be better...what a dumb ass

Damn dude, that sucks...but the Bacons are insanely cool, I took one short run on a pair today and they are so fun, I had mad shin bang from earlier in the day so I didn't butter on them much, but they carved and landed switch in fresh stuff like it was nothing, so smooth. Funny story though, the guy wasn't using brakes, just pow-leashes, which is ok cause that's what I'm running on my 130's at the moment, but the forward pressure on the PX's he was running was just set in like 2 minutes and not really tight, so I attached the leashes to the keyring on my boots and went out, well when I went to try'n carve of a little lip I double ejected in the air and the keyrings totally fuckin' failed and lost both skis, one sunk in the pow and the other shot down the hill across the race course and finally stopped in another pow spot, funny as hell, but I'm thinking of going back to the brakes for my Prophets after that...

Anybody that buys LINEs at full price right now is an idiot. Wait 2 years. Let K2's quality control take over and LINE will be one of the best skis on the market.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Pollard and LINE lifestyle fan, but when it comes to ski quality, they are the pits.

Yes, that's right, "pits"....I did just fall off the back of a turnip truck.

its rediculous that line are getting a similar reputation to marker

its quite often now that you hear the quote "dont buy line, the skis are shitty quality"

And it shouldnt be like that at all either. Some of the brightest ideas are being put into those skis, but nobody wants to have to go through ordering and sending back each pair as they delam or arrive flawed during the season.

Yo, get your warranty in ASAP. I took my 06 Invaders in to Evogear right after Thanksgiving for a delam problem. After quite a few calls, I heard back last week that they didn't have anymore 07 Invaders to send as replacement and so credited Evogear. I'm bummed about not getting another set of Invaders but after shelling out some more cash, I've got a set of VCT's now.

The message I got was that warranty replacements are now being sent directly from Line. Hopefully they'll have some Bacons left for you.

Id be real mad but im sure theyre gonna hook you up big time.If they already havent.

And having fat skis on the east is dope. Theyre mad fun.

ohhh that sucks

i saw the first pic of the two skis, one above another and i thought that was the delam at first i was liek HOLY SHIT ahah

ya i mean i bet there are skis that are just as fun

more reasonable for east coast

and half the price
