Sir Francis Bacon for the ec?

get em and then let me know what you think cause i'm thinking of same skis to rip up ontario. my pocket rockets just aren;t fat enough for the boilerplate ice!

i got the elizabeths 1st because they were cheaper and 2nd because the bacon is like 10 cm longer so i think that the elizabeth would be better on the east because its shorter but i don't know too much about how the bacon skis

ye same here, dirty jersey is not place for a fat ski. I'll be rocking my 04 fujas for the third year now. Its almost time for some new skis but im poor

i know that. my sarcasm was meant to show i'm already an idiot for skiing pocket rockets in the east - so i might as well go even further in that direction and get the bacon's!

what's the point? Just get a more sensible ski with your money. Why buy something that isn't going to work.

^exactly. its not wasting your money to buy a big mountain ski for the small skiing in the east- its just a different way to do things. and i can still rip ice on my pocket rockets (but i do have to have edges sharp enough grinding a rail becomes damn near impossible.

For sure. I'm getting them. I want something big, fat, flexy, fun, jiby....the ski is super fun. Just what I'm looking for. I'll have ar5's for park, and maybe even another stick or two if I can get some deals. All what you're looking for.

for real man, im thinkin of gettin a pair even tho i live in MN, skiing isnt about restrictions and what you 'cant ride here, or should ride instead' thats not what these skis are about, thats not what skiings about!!! its a revolutionary ski, designed by a rider ahead of his time, i want to be a part of it.

thats stupid. just buy a skinnier ski, i dont see why youd want your skis to be heavier and more cumbersome and be good only a couple days out of the season tops

nah, you should ski Prophet 130's or lotus 138's on the EC instead, I hear they rip the park way better than the Bacons. More surface area=better grip on ice.

It just makes little sense to get the Bacon for the EC. Sure they have a good turn radius, but they are much more weight than you need. I am almost tempted because they seem so fun, but the Bacon would definitely not be a one ski quiver. Go with a well rounded ski like the foil, karma, ar6, scratch fs, PE, chronic etc. There are tons of better options

i got some prophet 130s........but i want to sell them. If i can't sell them i will just use them anyways. Never know untill you try.
