Since when has NSG = Giveaways for Contest Sways?

Really though, whenever I look at NSG there is just a bunch of contest sways, some with giveaways of free items. Its seems to get progressively worse and worse.
 
Bribery is considered morally wrong in most cultures. Newschoolers should adopt this view ; )

I don't really mind threads that ask us to take a survey or something if its for a school project etc, but if it's a video that isn't so grand then don't give it votes because someone is giving out free karma or a neon green fanny pack for free.

the worst is when it's a contest involving other members, or anything ski related. Some dbag gets an edge because he's beggin for votes. If it's for something unrelated, youre the only person on NS going for it, then whatever sure, any member of NS trumps a non-member.
 
This, I feel like a see several everyday. A contest should be won by the best entry...not by who is giving shit away. I mean sure if I like your entry better than everybody else then I'll vote, other than that quit spamming the forums.
 
you should work hard and put out something that will let you win legitimately.

sway threads suck, especially when skiing is involved
 
the camp of champions weekend warrior threads are getting ridiculous. at least the goPro one was just a few kids pm'ing, but there are so many threads i look at asking for likes on their videos for the weekend warrior entry. i say delete em all
 
I was just thinking this exact thing. Some of these prizes are getting pretty hefty too.

but honestly I love winning free shit for doing practically nothing. So keep them coming.

If someone spam PMs you for contest sway votes, shoot me a PM with the copy of the message and their username...

Threads are bad enough, but PMs are worthy of a ban for sure and I'd hav no problem dropping the hammer.
 
because people are swaying contests that other members on this site are in...so rather than the best person winning the one with the coolest prize does...You want to explain to me how that isn't bad?

And, aren't the people who aren't good enough to win a contest without the help of NS the pussies?...
 
contests sways are FINE and i love helping other NSers out. but i fucking hate when i click on threads completly lieing not saying its a contest sway or saying its for something else and a contest sway pops up.

IMO all those should get deleated
 
my apologies, i am guilty of a few of these...

its just its a gopro for basically "likes"

its as if the trick, video arent even relevant, and once you start sending links around u start to get like a buzz, or addiction

my sincere apologies for those i may have bothered!

i realize now how truely annoying it is
