I am the Darchitect. I write and produce a little hip hop, and the whole project really happened after I tore my ACL Last winter. I was confined to my house in the most depressed state of my life and this is what occurred. I learned to make beats and was already spittin a little, but I think my style is a little different and possibly a little too political for some, but this is the day and AGE!

Thanks Bro! The production level is pretty low. I need to use a Mac, but am still stuck with a P4 processor for the minute!
 
honestly, that's pretty fucking good if you've only been flowing for a year. you just gotta work on your flow. all you're doing is talking really fast. throw some rhythm in there and change up your voice a little mang.

I use Ableton Live. The real shit! expensive, but the quality is out of this world. I've easily spent $2,000 on this endeveur.

Also, Im workin on the rhythm. I can';t really sing so I'm more of a lyricist like Kanye. He can't sing either, but I'm more about the message and less about SONGS.
 
i used to use live. if you want to improve the quality of your beats- make the switch over to reason and get some of the refills. it's not too expensive and switching is simple.
 
Everyone Always compares me to Immortal Technique!

He is now one of my top 5, but wasn't when the written began. Strange how a lot of people think I copped his style when I didn't really even listen to him! Knew of him, but his rhymes are far more intelectual then mine.

i recorded a couple songs ill post a link but yeah when i blew my acl some fun stuff... garage band haha no voice enhancements or anything but i just d/l ed some beats and bought a 40 dollar mic.
 
This may be a little out there... but does anyone Cypher (How you get good a rhyming for those of you who don't know!)

chyea dude. same problem as me at first you're pretty good though. It's my first year too, pretty much. my first couple months of being semi-decent at it. We all have work to do, hit me up if you want to do a little collabo though.

Thanks for the crit. I def need a little more practice and I used to record solo, but now I've got the full effect. Definately Am at production, but the rhymes are a little more cultured. You have a site where I can listen?
 
Fry I live in Seattle Too! Where are you at, because Im used to cross county collabs, which is pretty difficult!
 
dude i wanna hear that ride song without the gutiar peice, i feel like it takes away from the vocal. have you tried it like thhat?
 
Its one of the more thought out tracks! I just need to rerecord the vocals so its not left audio only. The album was going to be called Left Brained, but I don't like that idea anymore!
 
like the guy up there said, its really good just try not to spit in mono tone you know. its like ur just talking rather than rapping which makes you sound super white. but other than that keep it up.
 
^ Everything is recorded super blazed! It brings out the MONOTONE, and I don't want people to think Im black anyways so that doesn't concern me!
 
Listen to any Rhymesayers and its pretty simalar. particularly Mac Lethal, pretty simalar. SandStorm is my FAV
 
the problem isnt that you sound white, theres nothing wrong with that, it just you sound like the kid that does the ima gangster ima straight up G song. My suggestion is that you dont record while high. Save the weed for when your writing or whatever.
 
^ I hear yah, but the truth is that this is my High Hobby. I've listened to myself unblazed and I really don't like it, but I hear ya, it is pretty monotone. That's why most Rappers don't do solo shit, anyone will sound monotone if it is one person on the whole Track!
 
No, most rappers don't have the skill to carry one track. I can think of many more one artist tracks than these absurd collabos.
 
^ Its been up a while! I'm finally comfortable having others listen. Pretty wierd, but the reality of most musicians. I personally am way too hard on myself!
 
that's really sick. my friend and i like to write down rhymes and put them to beats we find for fun, so i really respect what ur doing. don't give up on it, even if u dont pursue it as a career, keep rhyming and making beats.
 
thanks! i just mess around with my voice and double overs and shit... But my lyrics sometimes dont make sense like one verse will be totally off. I like your lyrics. They gangsta! u got serious talent fer sure! if you wanna check some dope beats try www.soundclick.com if u havent already... i recommend anno domini beats and sinima beats
