I got another contest for NS members to sway. this one could mean tv time though, so it would be really good. i was watching Life of Ryan the other day (I'm gay, I know) and i saw a commercial for some spicy and sweet thing with doritios. it looked really dumb so i decided to go on the site "and check out some hotties." well i go on and figure out you can make a profile thing and whoever gets the most time checked out for each day goes into like some final or something. i really didn't read all the directions, but i know there's gonna be some lame mtv dating show (think NEXT) and i wanna get on it. this contest is a litte more in depth than others, so im not sure how many people will do it, but it's still pretty easy and could mean tv time for a fellow NS'er. what you have to do is create a log in thing (you don't need to make a whole profile) and then browse members on the site. whoever gets the most view time by the end of the day gets into some final thing or something idk.

if you can, leave a tab open on your internet with just that page, you don't need to do anything. then you can freely browse the internet in another tab

again, i know this might be too involved, but i think it'd be funny if i got up there and had the chance to be on tv and rep NS.
 
2 other notes-

1)if you click the button on the picture that says "I Like" it's 5 extra minutes of viewing i think.

2) the profile is obviously not serious, so don't call me a shoobie
 
+ karma. it says like 25 seconds so idk how this works, but if everyone just keeps my page open then it should get up pretty fast.
 
I did it, but I'm a little confused haha..do I just leave the window open after clicking the "I LIKE!" thing? And that's it?
 
ok well i don't know if this is working, but i guess maybe try clicking a different part in my profile every once in a while, idk. i guess as long as the timer is going then it's fine, i just can't see how much time i have on my thing i guess.
 
I did it.. and I clicked "I like" and it went to 5 min. but then it stopped counting time so I reloaded the page and now the timer is going. I'll leave it open for awhile and report back. good luck.
 
ok well it seems like maybe 5 minutes is the most you can stay on one person. you could try refreshing i guess but idk if that will work.
 
aright well thanks for the help, but i don't think enough people would be willing to sit there and refresh every 5 or 10 minutes. freakin mtv and their tom foolery.
 
I can set my browser to reload every set amount of minutes. I'll do that for the next little while when I'm not at my computer.
 
I think it's part of the "tab mix plus" extension for firefox, but it might be built into the browser..? right click tab> reload every> choose settings from there.
 
ok well i just checked as of like 12 am est and I have no chance. i only have like an hour and 10 minutes of views or something, while other people have over 4 and 5 hours. i guess you can pretty much forget it. thanks for the help though.
 
something about this contest sounds messed. it's not clear how your time goes up, and it seems a lot of people looked at your page for more than 10 minutes. so then how could someone get hours?
 
so i've hit i like like 5 times and i keep refreshing it. i hope it works everytime i hit i like.
