Oh man, i just got back from seeing Sin City and was thoroughly impressed. it's got everything that a movie needs. and the way it was shot is so unique. i highly recommend that everyone see this movie.

ummm.. no. that movie sucked. it's more like a "film noir" everything is grayscale except for a few select items.

It was a sick movie, but I wish it didnt end. I will only have closeure when the head guy goes down. I say head guy so I dont blow it for ppl who havent seen it.

jessica alba is mad hot, but i didnt like sin city. i think if i understood it completely i would have liked it, but i didnt. it was weird....but nice to see a mainstream movie with a more independent style.

One of the best movie's I have ever seen. For those of you who care, it stayed very faithful to the comics. The only thing I wish they were a bit more faithful on was Alba's character being topless about 75% of the time. They could have omited the part about Dwight having a new face, as I'm sure that confused a lot of viewers and was never explained. Keep in mind most of the dialogue was taken word for word from the comics as well as the composition/perspective of many camera angles. The scene which Quentin Tarantino directed was the one with Dwight and Jackie Boy in the car talking.

As for the castrations, only one was done by a gun The others were done by hatchet and bare hands.

overall i thought it was decent, i mean it had its moments, and robert rodriguez did a great job once again as director along with quentin. i thought bruce willis' part was extremely long and boring. mickey rourke's part was my favorite aside from the sword girl. its worth seeing, it was the best movie id seen in awhile but it was just missing something.

If the pigs were gathering in Vegas, I felt the drug culture should be represented as well. -Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
 
It was the best adaptation from graphic novel/comic book to movie i have ever seen. It knows what its doing, if you dont like it because it is grotesque, then yuo should not have been in the theatre. Its meaning is not to please everybody, but those who would appreciate it.

And I'll tell you one more thing: I faked every orgasm!
 
it was such a sick movie. i definately recomend it to people who want a good movie but dont hate violence. i dont think that there was one ugly chick in the whole movie. the first half is pointlessly entertaining though, and the second half brings the movie together, but i still liked the first half more, cuz it was a bunch of killing and stuff for no reason at all other than my entertainment.

It's amazing how that whole movie was filmed in some guy's garage.

It wasn't just the story I lliked. the part I liked the most was how alot of the blood, and bandages, and jewlry was put in there by comuters. Like Elija Wood's character, he wore glasses, but you couldn't see through them cause they used flash animation to make the lenses pure white...classic.

One of the better movies I've ever seen, based on several factors:

-The way it was shot was perfect for what they were trying to do. A couple of the people I went with seemed to think the B&W detracted from the whole thing somehow (though they forgave it based on the other merits of the film). I thought the use of colour on the whole was perfect, and the contrast in certain shots astounding. I'd see it again in theatres just to look for those little pieces of emphasis.

-The Characters, especially but not only the protagonists in each part, were not only interesting and well played, but the way the writing and plot worked to bring them across in a third of a movie was impressive. And I'm sorry, but Kevin was one of the coolest bad guys ever.

-I need to spend more time thinking about plot, but it was certainly engaging, and really fit what they were trying to do with the movie. In fact, everything fit, to my eye... however, I wasn't particularly analytical, since I was just trying to enjoy it. I'd have to see it again.

-The attitude and atmosphere of the film as a whole.

I could go on, but I have a feeling this will fill out as I see it a few more times. At least once or twice more in theatres. If this doesn't become a HUGE cult film, I'll be downright shocked. As it is, it's right up my alley.

I'd say my opinions on this movie should be clearly indicated by my avatar... it was awesome.

the part with the hand feaked me out the first time i saw the movie, as did the whole thing with kevin. but otherwise it was a great movie. i got to see it stoned at a private screening and it was amazing. i love the stylistic filming and composition.
