What was this for
one of the hockey dads collapsed while running a road race due to dehydration, 3 or 4 weeks later he died of kidney failure. this was to raise money for his kids eduactional fund.
teh event was a good time for sure. 5 or 6 hundred people showed up to participate in the silent auction, eat bbq and watch some hockey. good stuff. i think they raised close to 30,000 for the kids, which, over time should add up if its put into the right account (kids are all under the age of 10)
