i was looking trew a snowboard magazine and there was a picture of a guy doing a railslide and in the background was philou pouier watching it and you could tell it was him, it made me chuckle a wee bit

bad add good mag. The tw snow mags have the same ad to article ratio as freeze, but about 10 times the amount of pages. WTF. I hate freeze, SBC skier rules

Yeah, snowboarding magazines are really cool, and I can appreciate snowboarding. That's why it pisses me off when we accept snowboarders, and respect them, and we get no reciprocation from them. We don't imitate snowboarding, we just have similarities. Also, when they say dress like snowboarders, what alternative is there? It's either tight fag clothes, or loose 'snowboarding' clothes. I don't think they can say we're really copying them there.

if anything i would think that they would be happy that a sport is trying to be like them to get to the level they are at but i guess not

 
At my park, we show down the snowboarders. They plop their sad punk-asses right in front of the jumps and talk about their 'Newest and greatest' equipment. When they finally go for the jump, the don't have enough speed to get any pop off the lip, much less make it to the landing. If they try something, they fall right in your way. Unless if they have their pic in a snowboarding mag, they are all posers. Just ignore that stoopid ad, its meant to get to you and you're letting it. We have sooo much more skill, it so harder to grind on skis, but on a board you ride right onto the rail. No skill whatsoever. Look in a ski mag, always in the background are the sad snowboarders sittin on their asses trying to look cool at a big park, but we're the ones showin' them down.

 
i think its hilarious when people make fun of skiers...i say power to them, if they want to crush our sport go for it it just meens less groms on the hill to compete with
