which of these two wonderful television shows do you prefer?

Personally i would have to say the simpsons but only because they are classic and they influenced the makers of family guy to make their show. But Famliy Guy is one of the funniest shows i have ever seen.

family guy is just plain hilarious every episode, but there are so many simpsons episodes.

given how hard the simpsons have fallen off in the past five years and continue to put out episodes with shitty stories, I'm a Family Guy man. I can't deny how much the Simpsons have done but they suck so hard and have sucked so hard for such a long time without just throwing in the towel.

yeah both shows are the shit, the simpsons are like a ledgend to television, ive seen like every episode possible, but family guy is a newer show so they have more material, i still watch both whenever i see them on tv.......but it would be nice to kno all the times family guy plays cuz i keep forgetting.

Simpsons is the original, and Family Guy wouldn't be what it is without the Simpsons. The Simpsons also seems to be a more intelligent show than Family Guy.

simpsons, it's a lot more intelligent and they do a lot better job with the characters. family guy is just pure humor, there's a lot more to the simpsons, plus it's a classic. both are amazing, however.

Agreed. The Simpsons gets my vote. It’s funnier and way more levels than Family Guy. Their both great shows. Though I wonder about Seth McFarlane’s creativity.

although it pains me greatly, I'd have to say family guy. the writers of the sompsons need to realize that you can only take a show so far, and then you run out of ideas. that show was awesome for a really long time, but it just isn't anymore
