Simon's tricks are so played. Misty 7 & 10. Cork 3. Switch 3. Aside from some rail stuff (which is a little more impressive)....that's it

i dont really like simon but i gotta say his shots in the movie were sick , his 10 was stomped he had a urban shot that was nice and his pow shots in the nike 6.0 part were pretty dope
 
Seriously what's up with all this hate? If you have skied with simon you'd see how hard he rides. He's a damn good skier. Quit hating on someone better then you.
 
I haven't seen this movie but in general I think this problem comes from the fact that Dumont's skiing is so exposed that you see everything he does a million times. It's not that he isn't evolving, he is (look at his parts from a few years ago). It just can feel that way.
 
ya he's a damn good skier...it just seems like every seggy he puts out has the same exact shots..it'd be nice to see something new from him
 
perhaps his park seggys have been bland. but look at his parts in x=ten....banger! TBC....Banger! even in Reasons his bc shots were......BANGER!.....im not a big fan of his park shit but his BC booters.....unreal....nuff said
 
agreed, why you guys would hate on anyone who is a good skier is beyond me. I think a lot of people are missing the point.
 
I didn't like his part either. 5 different jumps and that's it...

I just don't get why he doesn't throw some of his older stuff, like truck 5's or the $$$ sw7 with nosemute from Push (JOI). Best sw7 in the game till Lolo did that screamn.
 
yeah i prefer him in tbc and younger than that. same with jon olsson, he is insanely good but i like watching his older stuff so much more. id watch his part in propaganda over one of his new segments any day
 
its not that we are jealous that he is better, its just that we are getting tired of the same shit from him year after year. And he is fake as fuck
 
he is really good but i think if he learned rodeos he would take his tricks to the next level.
 
Truth. He also has a lot more style than many people give him credit for. Maybe he's not throwing down dub 12s, but what he does throw, he throws amazingly well.
I, for one, am glad he's not part of the "spin to win" camp, and prefers style instead.
Oh, and cork 3 is a very difficult trick to do correctly. Just because it's a 3, doesn't make it any worse.
 
well that is how i feel about multiple threads about how Simon Dumont sucks. his thing is going big in pipe and in the park. so what.

this is what......the 4th or 5th thread in 2 weeks about the same goddamn subject.
 
notice the crazy-inverted cork five tails in that segment ^. Seems like everyone is doing those these days and that seggy is like 2 years old.
 
He knows no doubles other than fronts. He should learn rodeos also and kangs and dub corks and then hed be up to speed
 
you do realize that he does throw doubles in the pipe and on jumps in a couple edits, right?

look up the area 51 xgames training video with him and colby west just for one example ( this was last fall/winter)

and i know that he was learning dubs last summer in nz with tanner. i know there are videos but i dont know the exact names...
 
It doesn't really matter what the fuck you think of his tricks because he's still won X-Games more than you have or ever will.
 
I'd watch Simon's Forward seggy any day over his seg in the new Poor Boyz flick. He slayed back in the days of that neon orange hunting hat.
