Why is he announcing like a crazy person? Does he have a case of the Tanner hall's or is he really that excited to be chatting it up? Anyone else notice his intensity?

you must make decent money and he has nothing to do for the next couple months.

I'm happy that we have someone that can properly call the tricks and is stoked on skiing in general, it's much better than having someone who who doesn't really give a shit about skiing
 
I just don't get why he was calling everything "little." who's says oh there's a little 810 off the cannon rail? or little 4 on 2 out?
 
yo fuck that noise dumonts a boss. he's no travis heed but at least he's on point and competent about most everything he does.
 
If there was one guy I'd want announcing at my event it would be Dumont! Dude was stoked the whole day. And potentially you as well, Ian
 
he definitely knows how to call skiing but as an announcer in general he's not very good. said the same few phrases for every run.
 
i think he's announcing the way he wanted to be announced if that makes sense. Most of the time announcing is pretty bland, but he brought intensity too hit that we have never seen. But also enjoyed speedmans hilariousness.
 
Sounded like he was just hyped, and hyped for the riders, and hyped on the tricks, maybe hyped on redbull (but don't blame the guy for that).
 
this is why simon can't drink red bull anymore, a little to much suger, caffeine whatever else is in it, he's talking so fast
 
I think he did a really good job considering it was probably his first time announcing. Next time he might want to slow down just a bit and stock up on some different phrases to describe tricks with, but his intensity made it more exciting to watch.Plus, he called every trick correctly and is knowledgeable in all areas of the sport, including the art of what goes into throwing tech tricks.

I give him an A-.
 
Haha it was funny but I thought he killed it he's just gotta slow it down a bit because people like me don't think that fast
 
I think we should discuss Reed, that guy was great, I don't think I've ever enjoyed announcing as much as I did after Reed joined.
 
The amount of times I head "nice little" come from Simon's mouth was absurd. I was pretty surprised a half-pipe skier from Maine was helping announce a 100% jib competition. Reed was the shit tho! He should just get wasted and announce everything for the rest of forever.
 
This. The best person to announce would have been Nick Martini. Martini has incredible insight, especially when it comes to the jib side of skiing. Plus he is always well spoken and is so much chiller than dumont... Nick would still be stoked, but not act like a douchebag at the same time.

I didn't watch the event but people say little about more shit than you'd expect where I'm from
