If you came to post hate in this thread (and i know some of you did) you are a absolute idiot who needs a new hobby then hating on people you've never met. The classic NS "he has a bad attitude because he gets upset when he loses" shows up in every single thread where simon is brought up and honestly its starting to get on my nerves. Look at any other professional athlete. You don't see NBA players smiling and congratulating the other team when they get knocked out of the playoffs. Obviously someone is going to be upset if they don't achieve the goals they set for themselves. /endrant

Okay people hate on simon because hes a sellout and hes sponsored by target. but seriously, are you saying you wouldnt do what you love for more money? i dont see whats wrong with that. and people say hes such a wuss for crying, but imagine if you had been working your ass off for the longest time, and it doesnt work out, thats not wuss, its just showing emotions. another thing is people say hes overrated, but hes really not, he works so hard and does the most insane things, while kids freak out over phil/henriks tiny little 180 that an 11 year could do.

so simon does not deserve any hate he gets.
 
he just isnt professional all the time. mature people would keep their chin up when they loose and carry on, not bitch about how they dont even like their sport.

Oh I love Simon's attitude, he's just the shittiest skier imaginable. Double flips are NOT impressive if the skier is a fucking midget. For all the litle people out there, quints or GTFO!

I met Simon while at Whistler this year and he acts like a douche. Maybe you shouldn't defend people you have never met.

Well, I agree with the OP. There is nothing wrong with being upset when you lose. Just because he doesn't laugh it off people hate on him. He's competitive, that's a good thing.
 
ya honestly i dont see why people hate on him. hes a good skier and people never give him cred for how good he actually is. he boosts so high in pipe its insane
 
His actions at the Grand Bizarre Premier impressed me. He stayed back after the movie started and signed autographs for a bunch of younger kids who weren't pushy enough to get to the front of the mob. No one else did that. He's a consistently good skier, slays the pipe, and all in all seems to be a really nice guy.

Lay off people...
