A couple weeks ago there was all this talk about how Simon was leaving Salomon, and it seemed to just end unresolved. Maybe there was something I missed, was it all hype or what?

It is true that Simon and Kaya did not have there contracts renewed with Salomon Skis. Im not sure what skis either will be riding this year, but it will not be salomon. No great loss on Simons part IMO, it lets them build a good younger team ready for Russia. Kaya I think is more of a loss to the team.
