My grandmother watched Good Morning America which means a bunch of new people were introduced to freeskiing. This is sooooo good. The world record was one of the most amazing feats I've seen with my eyes but the impact and media coverage is stunning, amazing, and again, sooo good for the sport.

what happened to his heel? I came short on a 50 footer and fratcutred my heel and can't jump til this summer his was a bigger fall and his heel was hurt, what happened?

watch the some of the other vids. It shows the fall. He didnt land flat but nere the end of the transition. He didnt break anything just bruised it and tweaked his knee. In the redbull vid it doesent look that bad but from another angle you can see the impact. They showd him deck out in this 1 but that wasent as bad as the other.

pretty dope i guess, bringing our sport to the masses a little more. I know a lot of you are against this idea of expanding our sport and bringing it mainstream, which is a completely different argument so I won't even get into it, but this is just another step in taking our sport that way and believe it or not it is certainly a step in the right direction.
