Simon Dumont pulled off a new trick at Freestyle.ch.

As he calls it himself it is a "cork 360 to cork 540".

omfg, i so tired of this shit. people claiming new tricks that have been done many times before.

a dub cork 9 has been done maaaany times.

so PLEASE next time you make a "omg new trick" thread, remember to check if the trick really is new...

not new but i can picture a shot of dumont doing a slow motionless dub 9, like his cork 3s, in a video next season

It's def been done before. I know that Margetts has been doin' 'em for a while, and possibly some others guys as well. Sick trick nonetheless.

a dub 9 had been done, but not *many* times. simon will be one of the few guys with this trick. and margetts' was a dub nine, but definitely cork 5 to cork 3

every time i see jon olsson do a trick, i want to punch my computer. he just crunches into a ball, does a shitty safety grab, and spins the fuck around like the tazmanian devil, and then gives it a new name, even though its been done before...

It may be a new trick for Simon but quite obviously this is not a "new" trick as Margetts and Dane have been doing that same shit for years. Ill though, stoked to see Simon pushing himself to learn new shit.

Some of those dub corks looked horrible. Looking forward to seeing a bit more of Paddy Graham and Bene in Legs Of Steel though.

why do people automatically assume that when a pro says they've done a new trick that they mean they innovated one? how many of you get stoked and say you've learned a new trick? obviously its been done before but its new to you. take your heads out of your asses. btw that was tight.

I'd like to see that on a better jump. That Freestyle.ch jump is rain soaked. Anyone that's seen Simon's Revolver part can attest to seeing some classic Dumont - going big and doing it with style.
Hate because you're used to doing it but that shit was awesome. Nice job Simon.

where's the grab simon? though it's a cool rotation and I really don't have any place to critique this.

I can't imagine trying to win a contest on a jump like that. good on everyone there for hucking meat to get exposure for this sport. it's good to see simon doing new shit, for himself (as skiierman notes).

100% agree w/ skiierman.

Holding back my negative Dumont comments, if he just recently learned that trick; DAYAM! I like how it looked slow and he floats into the dub. Doesn't look rushed like a lot of dubs I've seen. Huge props for Simon for progressing.

yeah dumont!

so stoked to see him progressing again, and psyched to see him kill it all around in revolver so i hear.

level 1 era dumont makin a comeback.
