I've had mixed response. Some people don't like the audio because they can't listen to it at school/work. Other people like it because they can listen while they do other stuff. Just wondering what people here think.

 
Ohh okay, I sort of take back my comment. And I would much rather read an article because I can just skim over it quickly and read the questions I care about. Maybe offer both?

^powder is part of the ns movement and deserves a screenname on here IMO. If it bothers you, why don't you just IM the guy and have a conversation about what you want in return, or what your expectations are?

 
Hehe, at least I'm up front about it, eh 'Kaze. Besides, you guys have a pretty solid lock on this segement of the sport/culture. I don't think you have to worry about us stealing your thunder.

It's hard to figure out which is better, print or visual/audio media. Obviously since it's the net, the big advantage is to provide videos and audio that you can't get in a magazine. But a lot of people still like to read as well. Best compromise? Do both, a good story along with a good video. Well, I guess that's not really a compromise, but you know. Also, a lot of people are still running on dial-up, or don't have the programs necessary to run video/audio content, so a back-up text story is always absolutely necessary.

Glad to see that powder knows it's all in good fun- too small of an industry to be (too) competitive. :)
