perfect explantaion i respect his skiing. i just hate him because of his rants and shit. hes a good skier...better then i will probably ever be but his attitude fucking pisses me off
 
He did go through an alcoholic phase where he did make most of his retarded rants. Hes cleaned himself up tremendously since then.

He does take himself too seriously. He literally cried and ran out of the bar last year at the dew tour after some chick shut him down.

he is a passionate competitor. and its working for him. his dedication got him where he is today. when you try as hard as simon does, stress is inevitable. concern yourself with the emotions of yourself and those you love, let him take care of his own, and everything is gonna be ok.
 
some people are very competitive and get bummed out if they lose why hate on him because he's bummed? skiing is a SPORT and yes people are competitive

When you have been training for this kind of sport for almost your whole life, It does get into your blood and you do feel somewhat emotionally connected to it in some way. Skiing is how he makes a living.
 
no showing emotion is fine, but crying and storming off like a little bitch is so lame. makes you look like the biggest pussy and an immature douchebag.
 
Your right he should totally have been happy he almost lost 15 grand. THAT makes way more sense
 
i will agree with you and say he might go a little overboard sometimes, like saying he almost quite, but i would definitely be freaking out if i had the best run of the entire comp and fucked up due to a binding error
 
the man is a millionaire, you think he gives a fuck about 15 grand? no, he gives a fuck about winning. i still stand by my comment, storming off and crying like a little bitch is the lamest way to react to that. get pissed off, snap a pole, anything along those lines, but storming off and crying is not cool.
