I've only seen it once, but I'm pretty sure it's a hunter's hat.High visibility orange so no one shoots you in the head.You would get one where ever hunters but their shit.

Its a hunting hat that belongs to adrian (illmoney) that adrian left in simons car. he wears it because first off it is steezy and second off because there was this unbelieveable mogul skier that was from sunday river named marty odlin who blew out his knee. Whenever Marty would ski he would wear this hat to represent that he was from maine. So Simon and a few other people wear it as a tribute to Marty. Dont buy one to look like Simon because you will look stupid. Remember it is HIS steeze.

HAHA love the internet shit talk. Dont you think that these guys style is partially pushed by the companies they ski for...Oakley in this case. The orange hunting hat is pretty much run by a half dozen kids at the river and wasn't started by simon he just is the most visible one.
