smd is a duo, both from the dance rock band simian i'm pretty sure. and the song justice remixed was simian's "never be alone" and was titled "we are your friends". pretty awesome group though

when i got to dj my high school's homecoming (our school is poor and small and cant afford djs) i played that song. i was super stoked and danced my brains out but everyone else was not digging it and most people sat down.
