yeah I read that article in powder and that place sounds awesome. i feel like i suck as a skier compared to people out west because I've never had the chance to try shit like that. i have no idea how i'd do. some day.

Yea, its worth the money, most badass skiing I've ever had. When i was there we had a 2 foot dump the night before and we skiied untracked runs almost all day.
^^cool dudes, thanks for the reply. It's sounding like a place that I'm gonna have to hit up this season. How big is the area? I've always enjoyed berthoud; is it at all like berthoud's cat skiing? How do the two compare?
yeah its a nice mountain the only bummer is that its guided and you have to ski where the guide tells you. Example: you have to ski in a zone like 30 meters to the left of where the guide skied in order to keep freshies for everyone, but the terain is very nice. Everyone goes up to Molas pass to build kickers too, its on the way to silverton from durango.
sounds like a sick place. the guide part is kind of a bummer, but its definately nessicary. someone would die (they have like a million avalanches a year) and then theyd be shut down.
